You absolutely will man, I was depressed for years and years, legit, and I chipped away at it and overcame it very slowly, it takes time and it won't just click, you'll only know it's happened once you're there, so you could be close, you never know. ;) have you tried mindfulness? Its amazing.

It's a way to physically make bad thoughts pass, It's very difficult at first, but if you keep at it, it can do wonders, look into man, if you meditate at all it should come easy to you. https://www.mindful.org/meditation/mindfulness-getting-started/
