The mentions could is a representation of the most mentioned users in posts and comments, the bigger the name the more the user was mentioned, detailed numbers are in the table below it.

Another fascinating dose of information. I was hoping photography would have reached the top of the sujects -lol.
I think #introduceyourself has gone down because previously people were tag spamming everything with it. I still think this is a problem for the #steemit tag though.
