You got the big 4 points in here. I think another is that you can change Steem into other currencies that do other things. So there is value there. ..The danger for Steemit is only in competition and corruption. The blockchain hat is out of the bag and lots of rivals will emerge. Let's try keep Steemit clean ! , also from really poor posts getting upvoted by rubbish bots.
