Blocktrades no longer accepts Steem. How does one get money out of Steemit's on-site wallet now?

I'm looking to convert it to Hive but can't find any clear, simple instructions. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've always used Bittrex but I believe they have suspended deposits and withdraws for the time being. You could use binance or one of the other exchanges still supporting Steem.

steem-engine is the only way I found that I trust. You use their internal "deposit" function, and get steemp, then you can trade that for hivep, then you can withdraw hive to your hive account.

it seems that most exchanges are waiting and in maintenance mode. there is a post somewhere about using steem engine and hive engine to conver the steem. It basically said you need to deposit you steem to steem engine then buy https://hive-engine.com/?p=faq the FAQ on there site explains a little bit about it.

I did find one post that talks about it, I have never read it, found via a google search, and not the original one I did read - https://peakd.com/hive-129017/@libertycrypto27/how-to-convert-steem-to-hive-using-steem-engine -

It may help and like I said it is not the orignal one I read so I have no idea if the process works or not, I guess I will find out on Friday.

You can do it through hive-engine. Go to https://hive-engine.com/. Login with Hive Keychain. Then click "wallet" and click deposit. Select steem

You will get account name and memo. Send steem to this account with memo. After a while sell it on hive-engine. I did it a while ago and it works.

You may try steem engine or Hive engine. You can comvert steemp into hivep and vice versa and it can be easily transferred to your account

I am beginers on treading and using exchange. I find @huobi-pro is smooth
