I try to keep things as un-complicated as possible here in order to maintain a bit more sanity...and NOT try to figure out what's going on in an ever-changing environment where the MATH keeps being altered as well...
I'll just keep doing MY THING as I see fit, till I don't do it anymore :>) Life's sweeter that way my friend. ALL THIS can easily DISSAPEAR with the click of a few keys, or ONE click of the Mouse.
I'm glad I don't DEPEND on steem rewards for my wellbeing like some here do, or HOPE for...I feel for those who 'do', and angst over it as a result. I'm not ONE of those anymore...
Yeah, the drama here is higher than a backroom poker game with wives and houses in the pot.
It's to be expected this early in a game changing technology.
Future billions are riding on the changes to this math.
100 years from now, our grandkids will be soooo glad that we took the time to get some while the getting was good, imo.
By then it will cost much money to buy influence here.
We get the most steem per post now while the price is low.
When the market comes back getting 20 steem from a post will be unheard of, for most of us.
Keep your paper copy of your master key safe.
Crypto is coming, and it will be hard to beat free 3 second transactions.
You might be right about that, but as of now, we don't know what Cryptos are going to survive for our heirs to benefit from. A reason to grab a little stake in all of the coins/tokens I guess; but, that can get pretty expensive and the loss may outweigh the gains over time :>(
That's ONE way of trying to protect your holdings, but not as good as getting your keys 'off' the exchanges into a paper wallet...Whoever HOLDS the key, OWNS it.
Wasn't OpenLedger the latest example of locking-up/loosing/stealing or never having the coin in the first place? Or was that just a rumor?
Yep, not your keys, not your coins.
Diversification is a good idea.
I'm holding 4, right now.
Btc, bch, ltc, and steem.
Hopefully, one or all of them moons.
I'm with all of the above except for 'bch' :>) which I may dabble in soon. Not sure.
I got lucky with mine, it tripled and I took out half.
I'm down a little on what I put in, but six ounces of what I took out are in the change jar.
I'm up a few bucks on them, too.
Oh...well "six ounces" is almost a half pound, so that's a lot of bowls to flick your BIC at...
These are troy ounces.
That other stuff should be losing value pretty quickly.
4000 growers for 250,000 licenses and stuff will be sitting on the shelf for a while before long, iyam.
Without interstate commerce, it has no where to go.
