Barry, how do you feel about the experiment now? Just curious, since in the beginning you were harsh critic of it and I can understand that but I want to know if that changed or if you have different perspective, because as I see it both smooth and abit along with other whales have sacrificed both reputation and curation rewards to basically give the rest of the community more say in allocating the reward pool, which was supposed to happen with a flatter reward curve but that got dumped, as far as I know, from HF 17, and I think that what they are doing is both selfless in it of itself and worthy of support because now users like me, uberlow minnows with 300 sp can vote and substantially distribute the reward pool to comments and posts, 1 cent for a post worth $1.50 and 10 cents for posts worth $17.50.

My opinion is the exact same and that is why I also put my time and money where my mouth is and went on #SteemitStrike for a week, not posting.
I walked away from a week of huge paying posts, as you will notice if you look down my blog page now.
My opinion then, as now, and I have written it several times since coming back y-day --- this was rolled out VERY very poorly, with no notice and was deployed very very sloppy not using any best practices or communications.
Just some of the top 1% in life, doing what they want and also not handling themselves very well at times.
