So it appears people have already said this to him before...

I guess I don't get it, upvoting others would be more profitable in the long run because a healthy ecosystem would attract new users, and growth = value. Really the only downsides on steemit are self vote abuse and bid bot abuse and some minor interface/sign up issues that I'm sure will be resolved.

When people come on here do we really think they want to see shitposts that someone bid botted up with 200SBD or 10 posts from the same person valued over $200? It makes steemit seem scammy and hurts our reputation. There is potential here to overthrow FB and youtube and twitter, steem can be worth more than $4 right now if we'd get our shit together and work together instead of abusing the system.

It doesn't make sense even from a greed perspective, is he afraid of not getting enough or something... Less can equal more depending on valuation. So silly

Because he's not an investor. He hopes to ride the wave and trade out at the first opportunity, but all of his lofty predictions have failed, so he's going to stick around.

He's not interested in truth...he never has been. Even irrefutable truths prove to be beyond his ability to admit. He will never bring up the rancho situation himself because he holds guilt for it. He tried to dupe the Steem community by colluding with someone else and got caught. Now he's imprisoned by his lie. He can never tell the truth now.

He loves the thought of himself being the victim. He claims to have only downvoted in self defense, but that is not true. Early in the war he downvoted me on several occasions for simply disagreeing with him and presenting unflattering, yet true, facts.

There's a reason why people end up turning on him. @Dan first upvoted haejin before downvoting him numerous times, @done did the same thing...even @berniesanders upvoted @haejin 3 times before he ever gave the first downvote. The guy is a parasite and he knows it, and so does anyone else who follows his actions with an objective mind.

Agreed @jakeybrown. Tricky subject and I'm not saying I have the answers, but will have to see how this plays out.

Unfortunately not everyone is enlightened and able to see the big picture or longer term view. Instead they turn to short term thinking which almost inevitably leads to greed.

yes that true greed....he wont dare try to upvote you no matter your comment in his post.its better to help a young steemite grow ..you cant imagine the smiles on my face when my first post made 1sbd ...i was so happy and someone made that happen by upvoting me.some steemit are here as a student just to made little fund to keep them going in school ,and personal upkeep.please let learn love and learn put smiles on people faces .especially the young steemite coming on board.@haejin let make this place a better place .

Well said jakeybrown. In fighting and abuse has been the start of unwinding and downfall of many an enterprise. Even Empires !

Some mature leadership needs to be shown now.

As you say with Facebook becoming more out of favour with the public and advertisers,Steemit is ideally positioned to fill the gap.

But not if the first impression new visitors see is a squabbling abusive rabble.

Upvoted and following you

Fair enough, so why don't we plan this out. As a community we have more than enough VP to 0 him out. The only reason we don't, and when I say we I mostly mean us small fish, is for fear of backlash.

So why don't we set up a community driven approach where we have everyone flag his posts and where anyone who gets flagged by him gets upvotes of an equal or greater response from the community?

Maybe this has been tried and hasn't panned out, if that's the case I'm guessing the approach put some people off. @berniesanders, need some help? Let's get more people involved

I flagged him, got voted down from 40s to -5

There seems to be little unity and cooperation amongst those who want #hgin to stop abusing the system

Please join us! Check out these accounts: @flagtarget (which resteems 3 of hj's posts a day and we flag those). Also look at @flagawhale, collectively we've removed 92,000$ off of his potential earnings in the last few months!

Also @weflaghaejin is a bot you can delegate to which does all the flagging

Yeah i agree that greed usually ruins everything i'm interested to see what tricks you have up your sleeve @berniesanders

Steemit is full of greedy assholes. For example @themarkymark is the greed asshole behind @buildawhale @upmyvote and some other bid bots crap. When people try to talk about him Marky kid downvote people, here is an example of people trying to speak up and marky kid downvoting: https://steemit.com/coinmarketcap/@sevillaespino/stop-abuse-whale-steemit

where did @themarkymark come from..stay in your lane brah
