RE: I know I have been ranting but.......

You have quality posts. It is obvious time and effort are put into them. I don't get how they aren't getting attention. Your niche can't be small like mine will be so it doesn't make sense. I would like to know the demographics on steemit because they may provide some clues.

thx brother. I wouldn't say they aren't getting noticed at all. I feel like I'm doing ok. I just look at the others and think "wtf?" ya know?

You are doing better than most. Maybe it does come in time. The problem is newcomers may throw in the towel quickly since it really doesn't have much of a "social" feel. Like I said, I can't drag friends from around the world and all demographics to even try it. The trending and hot pages turn them off instantly.

I agree. I think the other thing hurting it is the long wait process to actually finally get in. My wife has been waiting for 2 weeks now. That’s ridiculous and will also be a big turn off. I talk it up to folks and they lose interest as they sit and wait to get on. Trending and hot suck. The Constant begging for follow s suck. Not getting noticed sucks. I love the idea behind this. I just hope they can figure out how to make it all come together and gel.

I think it is a great idea but the implementation has not been good. It actually reminds me of Google Plus and Myspace. Something just feels off. I hope it works because I have talked it up, but others like it will come along and learn from the mistakes.

I totally get that. Another could totally take this, build and improve and leave this in it’s dust. We shall see.

A month ago I considered investing in some Steem. Now I will only "earn" it. Something in my gut is saying give it three months to see if all the plankton die off, starving all the whales, and causing the entire system to collapse as the big guys rush to divest.
