RE: How to Make Money on Steem

in #steem7 years ago

hmmm there is something there but its the wrong thing

this is supposed to be a social media platform... Personally I appreciate some content that has a bit of effort... but each to his own.

and if that is truly the case you and @kevinwong can also vote for @swisswitness and forget about it afterwards :-)
here is the link...

Who is kevin wong?

quite a big user that has resteemed this post and even upvoted some comments here.

I am trying to get support for our witness we have set up helping the steem blockchain grow stronger. The more people vote for our witness the more chance we have to not lose money like we are doing today :-)
WE appreciate everyone that votes for us so please do so yourself

I've only been here a week, but @kevinwong so far is the person who is making the most sense to me when it comes to problems with steemit. He seems to truly have the future of steemit in mind, especially when he points out that if we want to solve problems with steemit, we need to change the economic incentives. He is not the only powerful user trying to make a positive difference, but he seems to be the most vocal and principled that I've seen so far.

Thanks Todd, he sounds like a very interesting person & in that case, i will follow him. I’m also quite new to steemit, but i believe that the platform has a lot of flaws, and equally as much potential. But indeed, things need to change. And the incentives need to change. I have some idea’s that i think could benefit the platform.

Let me let you in on one more secret. Go read up @dan and @dantheman's posts. Thank me later.

Well but the blockchain have evolved a lot and there are a lot of microblogging happening that sometimes might that is not a lot of work behind it but actually there is.

true but that is not what he is saying...
the message as I understood is that there is really no value in the content, its just milking the vote that matters. But the whole value of steem is based on perception and if more people see this as something that is a scam (which it is not) then the less it will be worth and then getting those votes without content are not going to be worth anything anyway...

Oh okay. I get the point. I missed it at first. Yeah there are some whales out there doing that. I try to stay out of the drama. Lol I post already enough unpopular opinions that gave me a "bad reputation" to the eyes of a lot of bigger users in the community. So I prefer do not that part on that conversation and make my case even worst lolllol

hehe, that makes perfect sense
