I used to be on Fiverr and back then I was only able to gain around 10 Dollars for handling somebody else's Social Media Account.
Originally, I joined to sell my Creative Skills.
I created Fiverr Gigs on making Social Media Banners, Logos, Brochures, Artworks, and even Editing and Proofreading.
But since it's not getting attention, I created a Social Media Management Gig and I was able to gain many messages but only two orders that worked out.
Even though I had fun handling their accounts for a week, I felt so empty when it finally ended and got nothing else to do.
I am still on 199jobs, where I do Editing and Proofreading for roughly 5 USD per 500 words and that's the only service selling that has really given me real side income.
I really want to do more "jobs" for the sole purpose of filling in my free time, but I don't know where I could go.
I've tried Upwork and Freelancer but getting a client was too difficult for me even if I follow all the instructions of the Tips and Tricks.
I'm still a college student but I really want to do online side jobs.
Since I am also interested in Steem investing, I was thinking I should sell services using it but the only site that is Fiverr-like that uses Steem is PeerHub.
I was checking out the said site and I saw that only few are selling their services and it is more of a product selling site.
I've also read about sites like CryptoGrind, but most of them are Bitcoin payouts and I would really prefer Steem.
Check out steemgigs on this very steemit platform, @gabbspitargue. I think they have what you need. I would even like to work with you, paying you in steem, if you can deliver. Upvoted and resteemed your post. Cheers.
Thank you! I'm currently checking out the Steemgig tag. So far, I've noticed that it is more of a donation tag, but I'd love to maximize it soon. :D
You are welcome. Nice. Please, do maximize it. I think #steemgigs will soon evolve into something similar to fiverr, upwork etc.
To find out exactly who they are and their services, go to @steemgigs. Follow this link too https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@steemgigs/steemgigs-this-will-well-your-eyes-up-with-unfell-happy-tears-the-greatest-kind-of-steemit-marketing-ever
Thank you so muck for your effort! I did my search too, I'll be sharing my works in the Steem Gig tag soon!
But, you can easily change btc into Steem with services like shapeshift.
I keep seeing mention of something called Steemgigs, but I don't know anything about it.
Check #steemgigs out ! Post whatever it is you can do remotely (with a price, usually in STEEM) for clients, just the same way you would on fiverr and tag steemgigs.
I'm gonna try out the Steemgig hashtag soon! Thanks for mentioning it.
I was looking for something that doesn't require converting cryptocurrencies, but thanks for your suggestion, I already use Poloniex for conversion so it will be a while before I'll check out Shapeshift.
:D
Shapeshift is super simple and doesn't require an account or anything. Just addresses and the amount to convert. I use it all the time.
True. I use #shapeshift very often too integrated into my exodus wallet. However, with shapeshift you cannot convert many cryptocurrencies /assets.They are not listed on shapeshift's website. That is where #changelly comes in handy. I exchange cryptos using changelly and pay transaction fee of only 0.5%. Here, my affiliate link https://changelly.com?ref_id=5a8f46c602a9 . For fastest transctions, shapeshift is the best so far. I think It's always good to have options.
Options are always welcome. I just now saw someone say that Steem isn't available on shapeshift, but I know it has been. I haven't confirmed.
That is correct! There are only 41 crypo assets listed on shapeshift.io and STEEM is not one of them. What I usually do , whenever I wast to buy steem power is to transfer bitcoin/ether from my exodus wallet, https://www.exodus.io/ , directly to my steemit wallet. The execution is performed through blocktrades, https://blocktrades.us/ . I have used changelly too, I think twice. It appears that STEEM is no longer available on changelly.
I prefer something that has a log in account so that when I've had problems, I can easily contact the people who owns the platform.
Anyways, thank you so much for your input!
:D
Fiverr is crap, I was demoted to level 2 then level 1 then no level in a month.
