Hi @crypto2crypto ive been on steem since February and tend to use my upvote power mostly on comments that people leave on the blog posts i create.
A while back i found a tool called steemspectacles that's really useful to me, it tells me my most loyal followers in upvotes, I've figured that if they love my content and take the time to upvote my posts then i will normally like and upvote their articles and probaly follow them too.
I seldom look at the trending page, but a few of my posts do hit the trending page theirs two on #walkwithme of mine there from this week, so i can vouch its not all crap up there, i know where your coming from in your article though 😊
