You are right. In order for Steemit to replace Facebook it would have to change its functions to allow people to connect in different ways. Adding friends, making groups, and chatting with other people are necessary. This is something that onG.Social is addressing and in my opinion is key for the success of a social media platform. Steemit has a bright future as a blog social media platform, but I see onG as a better candidate to replace Facebook.
