REMINDER: IF you run !stats and are level3 you may now risk the !special command as one of your attacks. !Life command will no longer run as it's just you vs. the boss now, two attacks - you know the deal:)
... sadly its time to close another IBT - this is the last post and IBT9 will be in the history books.

Once all the players have had a shot or 7 days have passed the Steem Boss prizes will be distributed (We are currently organizing and dishing out the other prizes as the posts close, there maybe a delay of a couple of days on stage payouts calculations, we haven't forgotten @doughtaker does a fabulous job here, but like myself we are volunteers and sometimes life creates delays - so thanks for your patience)... anyways on with it...

You have made it to the heart of the castle and finally after all this - it's time to face the boss chick! and...
She is a hottie! It seems her extreme beauty is over whelming you and as she is so hot you are compelled to attack her! hey if you can't have her no one can, right?
Wow! her hotness has compelled you to attack twice - Only the most powerful attacks will be successful.
To make sure you kill her and secure the riches, you must attack twice. All your saved life points will be added to your best of these 2 attacks - to see if you take a placing in the top 3 and take home the large prizes.

These are summarized below:
NOTE: You may attack with any of the standard attacks including the !special command if you are level 3. Your elite items will not visually appear on your character, but they will still be added to your displayed attack score. You may attempt to pick the boss's pocket once at any time.

If gobbo appears you get one shot to defeat him (can only use difficult attack) if you beat him you may run the command !gobbodrop, failure means loss of a life point and you may then resume your attack on the enemy... as gobbo has run away, the little Git!
Pickpocket time - You may attempt to pickpocket the enemy, you must do this before they are dead.
- To pick the pocket of your foe, type a reply !openpockets. Then wait to see what you get, it could be a positive or negative item and it only helps/hinders you for the stage in which you got it.
Summon a permanent random item. - To begin all players are level 0 and you may only have a single level0 item for the entire campaign.Level 0 items are random when summoned, to grab your level0 item do this.
- Transfer 0.05 Steem to the @wizardzap bot with a memo: "for ibt" Doing this will also have the bot upvote your other steemit posts while you remain a IBT player. If the amount is less then 0.05 Steem or the memo is incorrect you will need to wait for me to manually assist or try again transfering the correct Steem with the correct memo.
- Type in a reply below !ibtluckydip - Then just wait and see what level 0 item you luck, most are +1 to hit, none are negative items.
NOTE: The attack or your command will only activate the bot if you type it on it's own in a reply. Please only use an attack for your class for this IBT - if you use an attack for another class, it may not be counted and it may not win Steem. You may need to wait a few seconds, then refresh the page to see the results. IF nothing happens, please be patient and someone will advise what to do next.
Level up
If you run! stats you can see how your character is progressing. Leveling up is automatic. If you reach level3 you can run the !special command as discussed in the item shop.
If your new and a bit lost, just watch carefully what other players do to play. Worse case type a reply and either myself or @doughtaker will help out.

@lordnigel I think i'm at level 3. The first 3 stages i have 3 flawless victories. stats seem to suggest still level 2 though. Thoughts?
The special command is pretty kick butt, unlike last tournament, with this IBT you needed a near perfect run for every stage post to reach level3. The bot has you correctly at level2...probably the best way to tell is the !stats command, i.e. "Your est.hit/win ratio for a stage..." needs to be like 95%+
Having more closely read through some of the stats posts, I think something is off here, but not necessarily with @focusfit.
@focusfit had 4 flawless victories in the first 5 stages and banked 12 out of 15 possible life points, failing only on Stage 4. @focusfit then lost his Gobbo gamble on Stage 6, bringing him down to 11 banked life points.
You had 4 flawless victories and 13 banked life points through the first 5 stages yourself, and you were listed as level 2. Clearly if you didn't qualify for level 3 and the !special command, then neither should @focusfit.
However, there is a problem when we get to @artlover and @culgin, who both banked 14 life points. @artlover was incorrectly listed as banking 15 life points despite losing one on Stage 5. @culgin got stuck with level 2 despite banking 14 life points and a listed win ratio of 94% (in fact, 14/15 = 93.333333...%).
Thus, if your standard is a win ratio of 95%, then the standard is effectively the same as IBT #8, as perfection would be the only way to achieve that standard.
So we now have a dilemma as to how fairly resolve this. Either we throw out both of @artlover's attempts and make them re-roll using regular class commands, or we throw out @culgin's rolls and give them two chances at the !special command -- @culgin is currently 4th and if @artlover's rolls stand, then @culgin can only reach top 3 by rolling a 15.
It's your call @lordnigel. If you go with throwing out @culgin's rolls, you'll need to make a manual adjustment to their stats and set them at character level 3.

Weird... the bot thinks I just passed Stage 5... but I already did that last week.
Hmmm... how do I get to fight the boss?
That's how the bot is currently set up to "speak" when you are in combat on the boss round -- I'll note to @lordnigel that it needs to be worded better in the future. The stats say that you reached stage "6" (actually 7 but @wizardzap deals only with combat, and the boss round is the 6th combat stage), and you can use that as an indicator that you already cleared stage 5 and the bot is ready for your boss round commands.
