This is incorrect, @mattjack. The war first started on 20 Dec 2017. The first rancho vote came on the 12th or 13th of that same month. Also, whether Bernie has his SP split among multiple accounts or a single account, makes no difference as to his take. You can see how much Benie earns as opposed to how much haejin earns. It's no comparison.

If you went far back enough in the blackchain you would find all my comments where I stated that his approach is wrong. The problem is that if he didn't approach, no one else will either, because many were afraid to speak up. He wasn't. Asking nicely gets nothing done because haejin comes back with some bs business response about how necessary his self-voting abusive bahaviour is.
His approach may have been wrong with the attacks, but the motive behind it, the reasoning, is absolutely 100% spot on.
There's also the argument that many have that no one buys into steemit for altruistic purposes but for self enrichment so nobody wants to share their upvotes cause they argue "ROI"

I can see people leaving the platform much sooner because of being bullied and there being no freedom of speech than because they can get a good return on their investment
It would be nice if more people upvoted more especially manually rather than upvoting whatever somebody writes as that leads to upvote exchanges rather than rewarding content and helps build a community but I see behaviour such as @berniesanders a lot more detrimental to the community than that of @haejin

I don't even see haejin as detrimental to the community. The difference is haejin is a greedy little boy. He's thinking very small-time with what he's doing, and he's certainly not thinking long term. He doesn't care.
