I am fairly new to Steemit But it appears upvoting of posts will in the end destroy the quality on the platform
I did not know how widespread it was very much the thing everyone is doing whether its a good quality post or not

Most of its 2300 upvotes where payed which tells me the author wanted it very high up on the list of trending.
What is happening is just a platform where people pay to get there message to the top whether its good or not
This is a bit concerning that the platform is becoming like this
yes the auther wanted it to get to the top so you spend a bit budget on upvotes and you make a good return from it
You see its means that people that pay for the votes will get their upvote and their money does not matter the quality of the product.
Its a win win for everyone you might think well its not
Well its not at all its just gaming the system to your advantage and in the end the platform loses because everyone starts to see what is happening on the platform which give its sour taste to new users which means they leave
This overall affects the product that it upvoted so that post with good quality does not get the upvotes and one that payed it does
Overall its bad for the platform this excess use of bot for upvoting because long term their is quality control on what is getting up voted.
Upvoting not good quality content means the best products on the platform are not getting highlighted and therefore over that quality is not being shared.
Long Term it might not be good for the platform

your post is good yeh bot are spoiling the image of plate form but you are also using bots we cannot speak against that thing which you are also using by yourself
Haha yeah i tried one earlier to see what was like it seem to work its appears to a very easy way of making money just pay a bot and get three times the return on the investment sounds too good too be true. lot of bots might be scams. It not good for the quality of the platform for sure
yeh, i agree with your point of view.last night the first time i try bot for my post 2 boots did not work and one boot sent me 0.03 vote and after 2 hours this vote will take back.but one boot work good name is jerrybenfield.he gives me proper vote according to his description.
Yeah everyone seems to be doing it as a way to make money. I think its the only way to get your post out there. I will give him a go and see what he is like

Hmm.. I just joined Steemit. It seems like it could be just like bad Amazon reviews or any number of platforms. But there is no way to prevent that as long as Steemit is ok with people using bots. Like on one hand, yay people figured out how to make money. On another hand... this just diminishes the actual value/usefulness of posts.
Yeah it just a platform now to pay the bots to upvote your posts. which makes sense from an money stand point if it makes you more Steem dollars
But doesn't that mean that Steem becomes less valuable as people realize that it's mostly bots and stop posting content that's from actual humans?
I don't like the use of bots. I think at the very least it should be frowned upon. I hope the bots are being paid in steem though.
Yeah paid in steem i did not think it was as bad it was but it affects the platform because it just becomes above who can pay the bots to upvote their post
Yep :( The only bright side is it does give a platform for businesses to come in and try and use.

It's called advertising. You pay to get exposure. The more unknown you are the more exposure you try to buy, just like in the real world. If you're good and you're content or services are good then you will sail on your own and people will upvote and you will generate an income. Just like in the real world.
For me personally, it gets my brain juices flowing, always thinking of the next animation, trip, story or subject that intrigues me. It's also quite fun. Hope you don't get put off and you just do whatever you do best =)
Yeah its buying space using the bot voting power as well as making money from the bot which is good. I not 100% on the bots some could be scammers which is a risk . Steemit is a great platform thanks for commenting
