The majority of the world has never heard of STEEM so unless we put out content and info to lead them here they never will. I think it's great to share good content to other platform and get more eyes onto the chain. If people see something they like then there is a good chance they will look deeper and maybe get involved themselves.
Yep and I am hoping that those who are using other platforms commonly will at least occasionally share good steem content there.
Every bit of exposure is a good thing. I started a twitter account a small while ago for sharing interesting and useful posts from STEEM which is slowly picking up some bigger and interesting followers from outside of STEEM. People who otherwise would never see what is happening on here as nobody is showing it to the rest of the world.
We need everybody to see what is getting built here so that they can get hyped as well for all the good things on STEEM but without any marketing it's going to take a community effort and little things like posting and sharing around twitter and other sites is a start.
