It doesn't affect the new stock image Concept at all. You seem to prefer free images, which may or may not be available . It's possible that public domain images could cost a nominal fee if hosted on the site. Of course there are free options if you use the Steemit Inc. Image hosting and you use their faucet, find the image on your own, etc.
In other words it Might be convenient to acquire images from my stock image website, but a lot of people will, like you, go through the time and Trouble of manually inserting free images and keep all of the profit.
Others might see more value in professional stock photography. But using the correctly licensed images is good for us regardless of its effect on a business venture.

I promote businesses, too. However, I do not guerrilla market the concept by first projecting myself as the custodian of clean Images & scare tactics. Say's Law. Creating demand via FUD that would be supplied by me.
Our conversation began with your inquisitorial question on whether I had permission to use images that you identified. Taking this line of marketing, I would ethically probe in this manner:
Do you have permission for this image or whatever question deemed appropriate with
I offer an image sharing, stock photo sharing service......
or something on those lines.
All things work together for good though. Thanks your input I generated this image.

Presumption & innuendo
Yes. I do. Free is not immoral. Stealing is.
