Nice post. It certainly looks like you've got the right idea. Like you, I was reading any kind of guide I could get my hands on when I signed up recently. A lot of the tips are very outdated, and go back to a time when there were many less content creators all looking to get noticed.
Content is definitely King on Steemit. If you post worthwhile posts and comments, you'll get noticed. My strategy has been to reinvest any post earnings into SP. I'm here for the long term, and am excited to see what can be achieved.
