I really identify with what your saying here. I think people don’t value things which are given to them. I tell my children that every time J give people things or perform services for people I find they treat those things badly, as if they are worthless. But when those same people pay money for goods and services inferior to mine they treat them like gold. So I have a rule that nothing is for free.
I also really like what you said about being successful here on Steem. In this life nothing is given to you, unless your parents earn it and give it to you!
Steem is a reflection of life, you have to work hard, study and learn what’s profitable and what works. My path here has been hard, but this difficulty made me savor the wins and motivates me to try harder.
I also think Steem is like an undiscovered gem, when something happens and the rest of crypto takes a look it will moon. I don’t pretend to know when this will be, but until then I study, learn, accumulate and build my business here in Steem blockchain. This is an income producing asset, but it’s also a business. People should work it, like a farmer works his fields.
As for the HardFork, the only thing constant in life is change. We all must acknowledge how little control we have over things external to us, accept it, adapt to change and move forward.
If you must complain a bit, do it, then move on. Adapt and survive.
