What other comparables are there that may warrant that type of prediction? Reddit is the extreme end of the spectrum, the oustanding success.
How would it compare if SteemIt ends up like HackerNews or Slashdot or Digg?

The price prediction is based on the growth of Steemit, not Reddit. By showing Reddit has 8 billion pageviews monthly I was showing the potential.
For Steemit to achieve the $1500 five year price target it would need to grow roughly to the size of Digg and it's 55 million pageviews monthly.
The potential is there easily for Steemit to do this.
