Have trained a lot of people to give presentations.

Don't write the slides for the audience. Write them for you. They should be a series of topic guides that help you to just wing it. When you have run out of things to say on one slide/transition you move to the next. if you just hesitate for a moment click the next slide. If you forget key points don't worry about it and don't go back just keep going. Someone in the audience will ask a question regarding that missed point and that makes for an answer you have no problem giving. This will produce a LOT of transitions/slides. Usually about 40 for 15 minutes. However you will always look remarkably fluid even if you are a nervous presenter.

This particular presentation will be getting sent to somebody where they will be reading it. (I will not be there to present.)

That would make it trickier as you would need do a video conference to decide on the key phrases. I've done that in the past for people and it quadruples the preparation time.....
