RE: Two Ways to Earn With SmartSteem: Do the Smart Thing!

in #steem7 years ago

this bot could be very beneficial esp to the ones beginner steemians, they are able to use it for wider publicity in their posts. however a number of our fellow steemians abused those bots for his or her advantage. hope steemit crew will device a way to prevent those abuse issues for the continuing achievement of steemit world.i like smartsteem however i do not see why your post is well worth more than $300 after I did a post in french so well done on smartsteem at $17. however it does not remember, you deserve it! excellent continuation to the challenge!

excellent product, i delegated some of my electricity to smartsteem but i want to remove it, only for now, might be returned, :-) dont worry. just wanted to remove it for now, i went on and positioned delegation as "zero" as stipulated however it has no longer lower back into my bsteem strength? is there a waiting length or did i do some thing wrong?

just wanted to free up some voting electricity for my own votes, will reinstate once i've extra to play with.

I agree fully. Bots are abusing steemit. They're useless middlemen that are designed to drive traffic to their sites; nothing more, nothing less. They CAN be used beneficially, but let's get serious: Why is this (essentially an ad) at the top of steemit? This is starting to feel a lot like Facebook.

You have copied content of other comments and created a new one. Don't do this!

What. Just confine the criticism?

@missioncontrol I have already addressed the criticism on the original comment. The user has simply added multiple comments to one and created his own.

really it can be very benificial for beginner steemians like us.

Do you have any examples of beginners who have done well using bots? I'm honestly curious, because I have yet to run across anyone from the beginning of these vote buying ventures that has ended up doing well, instead it is those who sell the votes that do well. steemit is a beautiful opportunity to do things differently, yet everyone keeps falling into the trap of the same old nonsense that creates hierarchies where the majority ends up at the bottom.
It makes me sad, those of us who came before the introduction of these, unfortunate incentives, did not fall prey to the 'get rich quick' ideas, instead worked hard, consistently. I know many examples of those who did well that way.

hey @dreemit,

upvote services & bought votes are simply a tool which can be leveraged to gain new visibility. However, this is worth nothing if the content behind it isn't good.

That's why I decided that buying votes through @smartmarket (instant vote service on smartsteem.com) should be some what of a null game. It can be profitable - when for example the STEEM-Price rises. But can also result in a loss if the price drops.

And I personally don't believe in get rich quick. Buying Votes is part of a long-term strategy, which can be used to leverage the way STEEM works right now.

Buying votes is like gambling, the house (you) always wins...

That's not correct. When you buy a vote from smartmarket - you always get what you paid for. No overbidding there.

If the STEEM-price falls, the user loses a bit. If the STEEM-Price rises, the User gains even more profit.
