RE: Day 10 - Steem Advent Calendar 2017, Win prize everyday! 🎄🎁

in #steemadvent7 years ago

My best memory of Christmas was three years ago, I usually do not talk much about the subject, but I go there: my brother was very excited to have a family trip at Christmas, since we had never done it, I plan the trip during the whole year so that when Christmas arrived everything was ready and without problems. And so it was, he told the whole family that everything was ready (we are not a very big family), on what date we would travel and for how many days. The place he chose was completely isolated from the city, it was a place just for us with a pool and a very beautiful view, we had all the services and all the traditional food for Christmas. Once together we forgot our daily worries, we shared like never before, we laughed, we danced, we played and we spent hours talking, we became more integrated as a family and my brother fulfilled his dream and everything was so wonderful that when we returned to our house, the new year It was already beginning, he told us "this year we will go again". And it's something that fills me with a lot of nostalgia and sadness because when Christmas came again everything took a 180º turn, he died that same December for reasons beyond his control. It's the best memory I have because it was literally the last Christmas we had together.
