My father was a "pagan" I mean not a practitioner of any religion even though he comes from a christian orthodox family he never embraced the idea of a supernatural being watching over us...
"If he is watching over us then why he is letting people die of hunger ?"

Having said that..
We celebrated xmas every year...for him it was a social tradition and an opportunity to sign a contract for some company I guess lol
My mother is from a different religion so for her it was a kitchen party lol
Now you can imagine what kind of atmosphere is in the house by that time of the year:
A father that could care less about a tree and some lights has it not be for a social masquerade lol
A mother that thinks it is a party
and me and my brothers watching "Home Alone" on repeat thanking God every day for the holidays hahahaha
yes...I love xmas...who doesn't!!
