The existence of God!
Atheists, agnostics and intellectuals - so caught up in the importance of their own existence, are often quick to deny the existence of God, through one simplistic question -
'If I can't see or hear God, how can He exist?
And with this one question they consider themselves to be superior to 2,000 years of Christian literature.
Let us now examine.

The introduction:

The mice are absolute CORRECT.
We know that God doesn't appear before us as a person. Or as a voice for all to hear. Or as an object to touch.
We have learned through our Christian studies that God is a part of us, with us all the time. And we don't communicate with him through sight, or sound, or touch, or smell, or taste - we communicate through feelings, emotions and prayer.
John 4:24

Responding to doubters.
In your lives you will come across doubters and they will ask of you the question this Knight shown above. And the best way to respond to them in SirKnight's opinion - put questions back to them. None of which can be answered by reference to the 5 senses.
Do you love your wife and children? (How do you know you do?)
Do you have high hopes for the future? (Can we see this hope?)
Do you have faith in your friends and family? (Prove it!)
Then you can get a little more scientific:
Do you believe in Atoms - proton, neutrons, electrons - how do you know they exist if you can't see them?
If there is no Creator - what came before the Big Bang?
Does 'time' exist? You can't see or hear 'time'.

Understanding what God is.
This Knight sees God as an omnipresence (present everywhere) and omniscience (all-knowing), but not an omnipotent (all-powerful) spirit. There is enough evidence in the Bible to say that God cannot (perhaps will not), directly impact upon humanity. More so He does guide our course through indirect influences - such as control over elements and working through people.
Perhaps the mice are right in their theory. If God was to focus all of his power directly on Earth at any given moment, the outcome for the Earth and maybe the rest of the Universe might be catastrophic.
This Knight now wishes to end with one final thought.
If there was an evil that wished to enslave humanity. This force of evil would need to do three things:
- Destroy LOVE for others.
- Destroy FAITH in others.
Then finally destroy all HOPE.
But to do all of this - the evil must first destroy our love and faith in God.
We must never let this happen.

Hello @sirknight, with all due respect, I'd like to point out a few things regarding the above statement.
If the bible refers to God as Omnipotent, why should we say otherwise.
If you truly believe that, "God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth"... You should also believe that He is Omnipotent because that's the Truth.
I will like to see those evidences. Well, except you mean physical impartation...
Does this not prove Gods Omnipotence?
A good example: He owns and controls the air we breathe. With a snap of His fingers, He can seize this air and we will cease to exist. That's a direct impact!

Compared to you and me - God is omnipotent. However, if God is truly omnipotent explain:
Surely if God had unlimited power - there would be none of these things.
Let's take it a step further - if God wanted the Israelite's freed from slavery why didn't he simply pick them up and move them out? Why work through Moses?
So this Knight stands by his comment - God either cannot involve himself directly; or, he chooses not. Either way this makes SirKnight happy. For either way humanity has choice, freewill and responsibility.

From my little understanding, I think the simplest explanation to this is freewill.
The question asked resembles, ''Why didn't GOD destroy Satan?
God is the root of all good and Satan is vice versa. God doesn't rule with power, but love..
Before the fall of Lucifer, he accused God of improper leadership, this was a challenge, and no one challenges God. But, God didn't destroy Satan, Why?
God omnipotence, will still be displayed fully, but with time. And then, the earth will be destroyed, as said by @scarletmedia. The delay is for the our salvation, which is a proof against Satan. This is one reason for our creation.
AJoining God's kingdom is by choice and not by force, and His omnipotence shall manifest, and all created being, with even an atom of evil will be subjected to eternal doom.

Nice list of arguments that God does not exist. If you think these things prove God is not Omnipotent, I suggest you look to answer these questions:
Why did God give man freewill?
Why did God provide the temptation that resulted in the original sin? Did he not see this coming?
I believe my Omnipotent and loving God did not create a pet dog or an ant farm for his amusement. He created a complete environment where we could grow and learn to commune with our creator. This our place to learn the pain and sorrow of not being with Him and the joy and rewards of following His word. We are not capable of understanding why all the things we perceive as bad happen, but we must learn to appreciate the lessons and gifts He graciously gives us. Especially the gift of forgiveness through the sacrifice of His son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Proof of a Love that cannot be exceeded.

God is All-knowing sir. Let's flashback to the beginning of time when God made man. He made all things good for man including his habitation...until man sinned. It is the result of the fall of man that all these things; problems and disasters occur on a daily all over the world. We can only pray, have faith and believe that God's got us no matter the situation or circumstance we find ourselves. It is only through faith in Him that we can have steadfast LOVE and be safe from danger.
You and I are both alive today because we love Him and He loves us. So we keep up the faith.

People say I will believe it when we see it. The Bible teaches us we must believe first then we see. Every single person at one time had the ability to believe, because God gives each one the measure of faith and He sets eternity in our hearts. I asked a room of people p, perhaps 100 or so, this question. How many people believe God raised Jesus from the dead. Nobody hesitated, every hand went up. Everyone in the room believed Jesus was raised from the dead. This is amazing! Nobody saw it, but everyone believed it. Because this is required for us to be saved. We have to believe God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9. The free gift of grace to be saved.
The Bible say the fool says in his heart there is no God. Literally it mean a fool says there is no God for me. That God thing is good for you, but not for me.
They decided one day not to believe!
One thing that is amazing you were speaking of the make up of atoms. There is something invisible holding everything together and scientists cannot find it, see it or measure it, but they know it has to be there. The atheist scientist named this thing “The God Particle”
We know what or Who holds this stuff together by the scriptures.

People may have reason to say God doesn't exist, but how come they don't see a reason to show be exists?
The creation of the earth alone and all it's mysteries is something that the world will never be able to explain.

Another way of understanding God is to study the life of His Son, Jesus. Colossians 2:9 says, “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” In the Person of Jesus, God became man (John 1:14) and provided a way for us to have forgiveness of sin and eternal life with Him (2 Timothy 2:10).
Believing is much more than the intellectual recognition of what is written is true. Believing is also more than having the confidence that the Bible is inspired by God. There are many things that are real that we can’t actually see. We can’t always see air, for example, but we know it’s real. While we can’t see the air around us, if you blow on my arm, I can feel the air. That is “evidence” (a clue) that air exists even when we can’t see it. God has given us clue to His existence
First, nature is evidence of the existence of God. The fact us that the earth is so amazingly made to provide humans and animals a home.
Second, people, however imperfect accept a universal standard of right and wrong. If there is no God in the world, if there is no Author of life who can distinguish right from wrong, why is it universally accepted that there is such a thing as right and wrong?”
God is the Creator of all things. In other words, the fact that you can see, hear, and feel anything is evidence of the God who created them.
All such things are limited. God is not temporal. None of this can be experienced by the limitations of the senses.
In Pauls letter to romans“since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
I once watched a comedy clip of a conversation between a little girl and her neighbour who is professor and atheist.
He argued that God isn't real because cannot see him/talk to him, and she replied by asking him a question: Do you have a brain?.
He replied in the affirmative.
Then she asked if he could see his brain and he said no.
The little girl them told the professor that since he cannot see it feel his brain, it doesn't exist.😂
All those who argue about the existence of God, know deep down that he exists.
I once saw a movie titled: GOD'S NOT DEAD(featuring Newsboys).
And the strong headed atheist professor ended up giving his life to Christ before he died after a fatal accident.
Some people make themselves believe God doesn't exist when they don't receive immediate answers.
How can you explain the existence of The Supreme being, who represents life?.
A lay man may call it nonsense if we go deeper to explain through the person of the Holy Spirit.
But, one fact sure remains, whether we agree or deny his existence and Supremacy, He is still GOD and very much alive!.

Our God is greater than the way people see Him.
He has been before the creation of the world and He still reign and He will continue to regin even after the world exist no more.
Though we cannot see God face to face but He made himself manifest through His Son Jesus in the form of human. He made Himself known to us through His Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of truth.
He also reveal himself to us through His word.
We need to always have a deep communion with him through His word and His Holy Spirit which bears Him withness and always convince us of His existence.
God lives forever more.

God is always ready to speak to us in our daily basis but it is not everybody that is willing to listen or recognize Him when he speaks due to the things of the world that is dominating the heart of many.
We need to always have quiet time with God through studying of His word.
We need to always commune to Him through prayers and always building our confidence on Him and faith to really prove that we believe in His existence.

God exists, that I know and I'm convinced about. I always laugh at people that try hard to prove the non existence of God. God has been wonderful to me and He has never disappointed me.

Honestly, coming to the knowledge of God is not sensual; rather it's holy-ghost-inspired. As I was reading this post, particularly, the header " Responding to doubters." The movie "God Is Not Dead"replayed itself in my mind-- talking about the Professor, who did everything without His human power to suppress the truth that God is very much alive. (For those of us who have seen this movie, we know the remaining part).
God is no flesh; so whoever tries to fathom His dealings or nature scientifically, through his or her senses will end up in a beautiful misery.

God has revealed Himself to us through His son Jesus and through His word(Bible).
All we need to know about life and how to relate with him is fully loaded in His word, we just have to keep studying and acting on the word through the help of the Holy Spirit.

This is a nice post @sirknight. People tend to look for God in the wrong places, how can someone so mighty and powerful adhere to human whims. They want physical proof of existence of someone with the greatest spiritual superiority. They believe in the big bang theory because they understand it... well i believe in God who caused it to explode.
You see, God is unlike men that shows off or seek attention and so some stupid questions crosses the heart of the hypocrite . If he’s God why doesn’t he show himself, why wouldn’t we see him. The fact that we’ve not seen a thing doesn’t mean that thing doesn’t exist. God has shown himself and still shows himself but these hypocrite are too blind to see cause they believe they own themselves. God is everywhere and those who believe in him through the son will have everlasting life

Recently a friend said and I quote: "what if we're fooling ourselves with all these prayers? What if no one is up there"?
This particular assertion changed the way I see him and reduced the respect I had for him.
Even science cannot wrap their minds around the mystery of creation. They've tried to biologically place everything in order yet it eludes them how the bones came to be.
Truth is, we believe because we've seen the evidence. And to many that are blind to the wonders of God, it becomes an issue for the to attain certain height.

Well said sir. God isn't something you can see, feel, hear and taste in the normal sense. All things which the senses detect are created things. God is the Creator of all those things. In other words, the fact that you can see, hear, feel and taste anything is evidence of the God who created them. All such things are limited and finite. God is not temporal. HE IS IMMATERIAL, Infinite and Eternal. None of which can be experienced by the limitations of the senses. "The natural man cannot receive the things of God because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians 2:14 "That which can be seen is temporal. That which cannot be seen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18 "The natural man is at enmity to God." Romans 8:7. A natural man cannot understand what God is. We(believers) understand the true nature of God because we love him and we have hope in him. This is done by the faith we have in him. Like the knight said, for the whole world to get destroyed by evil, it must have destroyed the 3 factors.

This is a pleasant post @sirknight. Individuals tend to search for God in the wrong places, by what method would someone be able to so forceful and intense cling to human impulses. They need physical confirmation of presence of somebody with the best profound predominance. They have faith in the theory of how things came to be on account of they comprehend it... well I have confidence in God who made it detonate.
If there is a god?...ok..ok .... what I say is just what I think.. ok.
it's just an illusion to control the masses and guide them in a certain direction... if there is some one who looks like god... then there's someone with just a higher and more advanced technology who tries to manipulate our minds in hes own best interests/........ as is said in one film... That's why I believe in myself, and it helps me a lot more.

The christian world view handles these 3 questions in a satisfactory manner as given below;
Who are we?
Spirits with a soul and walking in the body.
Where do we come from?
We originate from God. God created us in his own image- Genesis 1:27
What has gone wrong in the world?
Man sinned against God but there is a solution to this and that is salvation through believing and trusting in Jesus.
There is a lot to discuss about this subject but with all due humility, let me halt here for now.

Lol.. well here in Nigeria what people can't argue is the fact that the supernatural exist because, they see it DAY and night. So once someone says there is no God, I will simply ask him if he has seen the supernatural? He/she will agree then I'll tell him our GOD IS SIMPLY THE KING OF THE SUPERNATURAL WORLD.
I have always wondered why there are people who doubt so much about the existence of God, why there are people who still believe in the big bang theory. It is harder for me to believe in this theory than to believe in the creation of the world by God. I know he is real because it is impossible that so much perfection in our bodies, in the animals in the trees, have been created alone, I can not believe that we are particles that evolved and we have grown so perfectly with each organ in its due place. I do not think an evolution is so wise. Wise is God. My faith is in him, as father and creator. and because so far their miracles have manifested in our lives and every day that passes we see the power of God doing wonderful things in us. Individuals may have motivation to state God doesn't exist, however why they don't see motivation to demonstrate be exists?
The production of the earth alone and every one of it's secrets is something that the world will never have the capacity to clarify.
How about we take a gander at it along these lines we accept there is dependably a tomorrow notwithstanding when we haven't seen it, and that is the reason the book of scriptures say without confidence we will never have the capacity to please God.
Respected knight this is a subject much debated by many disbelievers; the best things in life are not seen, they are not palpated, but they are felt through love, of kindness and how wonderful is the love of God for us, that forgives all our sins, that gives us what we need , it is impossible not to believe in it when we see each part of life the complex and wonderful of the human body, its functions, the complete nature, each element that is part of the universe, only someone with great power, wisdom and supernatural could create it , nothing is equated, there is no man who has done with all science something so perfect. And all the people who believe in him, that every day we have that confidence called faith, we see how he gives us the necessary wisdom to follow the right thing , we see how every time we approach God, we do better.
