This is the ability to accept delay, annoyance or suffering without complaining. For the purpose of this study, patience is having the capacity to wait on a person or thing. Patience has to do with waiting on God or His promise amidst delay; without murmuring or complaining.
Patient on His promise
To have patience in your walk with God is to be able to wait on Him or on His promise, even in times of delay, neglect, suffering, affliction etc. Patience keeps you waiting relentlessly or patiently on God who had made a promise to you.
See, the period or vacuum between prayers and answers to prayers must be filled with patience. Patience gives elasticity to your faith. It keep you waiting without grumbling or complaining; knowing full well that He will not fail: But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it . Romans 8:25.
What the apostle was simply saying was that it is with patience we wait for the promise of God. God usually tests our patience ability to wait on His word or promises.
And to this end, Apostle Paul restated: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:12.
Thus, between faith and attainment of promise is patience. Patience is the ability to hang on without fainting and complaining until the promise is fulfilled.
Apostle Paul re-echoed: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36.

After you have prayed and do all He asked you to do; you still need patience to be able to receive the promises of God.
This is where lots of believers fail. They seemed to give God time to fulfill His promises. Little did they know that God does not operate on earthly timing.
Now, as disciples of God, we must exhibit patience: But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience..... 2Corinthians 6:4.
Dear, in everything that has to do with us and God or our Christian faith ... let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Heb.12:16.
It follows that our walks with Christ is that of patience. Little wonder James said: But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.James 1:4.
PATIENT IN LABOUR
This has to do with your ability to wait on God, while labouring for Him or carrying out his assignment. It is the ability never to be in haste while discharging the Master's duty. When God gives you an assignment, He needs you to be patient in laboring for Him.
Patience in labour portrays that while doing His business; you wait or rest on Him for directions and instructions. You do not do it your own way.
Summarily, it means that while discharging the assignment or work of the lord; you are prepared to subject yourself to all the process He will take you through.
Patient in laboring or working for God cannot be over emphasized. Thus, in the course of doing His business, you need to wait or continue doing it despite difficulties or sufferings you will face with murmuring, complaining or even being annoyed with Him.
The point being made is that when you are discharging his assignment and you encounter various processes; you should not complain or even get annoyed with Him. Rather, you should wait patiently on Him.
This was different from what Job did when he concluded: Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.Job 13:15.
He was simply saying that that despite the rigorous process he is going through: yet he will patiently trust God to deliver him from it. He went further to say that all the ways and decisions he will take, will be before the lord of in line with His word.
Little, wonder he refused the counsel of his wife to curse God and die (Job 2:9). Thus in reacting to this, James said: Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.James 5:11.
Now that you have heard of the patience of Job. What shall be your disposition in trying times?
We have begin to tread the path of patience. God requires our much patience while doing His business (ll Cor. 6:4.) This is because ....the trial of your faith worketh patience. James 1:3.

See, God tries us through various processes we undergo; such as delay on delivery on His promises, lack or even temptations and persecutions: to the end that we exercise our absolute trust and patience on Him.
Thus, in reacting to this, Apostle Paul echoed: Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.1 Corinthians 15:58.
The Apostle Paul was simply saying saying that we should continue to exercise our patience in doing the work of the lord, no matter what we face. This is indeed our labour, which according to Him, will not be in vain.
Patience is virtue, Patience with God is faith and like they say "God's Time is the best", we all have plans for ourselves but God's plan is the best because he has a purpose for everyone he created and he reveals his plans and purpose in our life to us only if we talk to him in prayers, patience is the ultimate key, wait on God's time and you will never regret it. This is a really educating post, thanks for sharing.

One thing is to have faith in God and another thing is to patiently wait on what He has promised to do.
He is always ready to give us all things but most times God is waiting for the time when such blessings will last forever so that the enemies will not have the power to destroy those blessings.
I love this
''patience'' means to ''stay put and to stand fast when you'd like to run away, and many Greek scholars believe that ''long-suffering'' refers to patience in respect to persons, while ''endurance'' refers to patience in respect to conditions or situations.
Patience is not only the ability to wait, patient is the ability to keep a good attitude, a Christian attitude while waiting.
And also having patience is like a super power that only few posses, that's why we need always pray to God to give us the the ability of patience.

patience is a virtue, a difficult but important one for the Christian. While every day our patience is tested and, we can hope, increased, we must be mindful of the process of sanctification and how God is at work in our difficulties, even in tiny annoyances, to make us more like Jesus. But as Peter says, we must "prepare [our] minds for action" ( 1 Peter 1:13 ). We must be intentional about increasing our patience, perhaps even by using mental exercises, but definitely by practicing the spiritual disciplines. Let us focus ever more clearly on the example of Christ in order to imitate him in all things, large and small
your life should always be directed towards his ways and toward the right parts which he has stipulated for you.
His power has always be manifested upon those who trust and worship him in truth and in spirit and ready to give him all the honour.
You don't have to be very busy chasing what is on the earth and leave the things of the father who is the living God.
You will not serve God without giving God your precious time and sacrifice.
Things may seems so hard and not going the way you planned it but always remember that the lord loves you as his child every time and always care about you any time you come to him in prayer
Give your self a real definition and what you want people to think if you.
It is our prayer for Christ to be with us in All we do and when will dwell in his presence .
death has brought us joy peace .
We should have the courage to glorify him and worship him in truth and in spirit always

Great post
Patience is a vital key every believer shiuld have.
By and large excessive admiration puts the icon above love and administration to God. That leads him to need to have a picture of his object of worship or god. In past circumstances the picture was made of wood, stone or metal or some other material, today they utilize porcelain, however innovation has likewise enabled pictures to be taken through photography, publications, pennants, and so on. Excessive admiration isn't just the picture, yet the otherworldly or awesome being that is accepted to be behind that picture. In any case, that truly isn't.
