Did anyone at the grand opening mention the fact that this is the green color of tsu - a platform that was supposed to encourage and reward content creators but failed?
tsu had 3M users when they brought in groups/comminuties/hives - by whatever name - it takes the active people out of the regular mix and puts them only in their little clique.
When tsu brought groups in - the site activity dies in less than two weeks. If you were not in a particular group - you got no visibility. If you were in a group - only those people saw you and you could only post on topic. Complete death-knell occurred.
I don't know reddit, but I think they have millions of users. You cannot segment the 5000 active people on steemit and expect to survive. When the groups come in, I expect the place will fail. I hope I'm wrong, but I see no route to success with the few people who are here and trying.
