The official proposal has been selected from the eligible pool of proposals from the results post. Thanks to all players that contributed to these proposals. The following proposal has been selected based on the selection rules. All players now have the next 24 hours to voice their vote in favor or against the proposal.
@pbock proposes:
An Addition to Gameplay:
Users may "gamble" 1 LAND to steal LAND from 1 other player, once per proposal round, in the form of a comment on that player's proposal using the rollthedice bot.
A 1-4 is rolled: Your thievery is intercepted and your LAND goes back to the rewards pool.
A 5-6 is rolled: You successfully steal 1 LAND from the user.
The official proposal of the LAND
All players can vote by either responding to this post with a {YES} or a {NO} somewhere in their comment. Players may change their votes until the end of the 24 hour period, but can only vote once. If there is more voting power in favor of the rule than against, it will pass!

I honestly think some of the other proposals are more interesting. I mainly made this one to gauge interest in more aggressive play, so the probability isn't very well adjusted. It would indeed work better with a proper rewards % like 1/3, or maybe a lower land cost.
Hmmmm... I think I know my next proposal. That more than one proposal be available for vote during the voting phase. Selecting just one means the direction of the game can technically be manipulated by the Totem, given we've got no input and so which proposal of a set of equally "likable" proposals is chosen depends on the totems choice entirely.
Maybe some rules for more proposals up to vote or some way for us to affect which proposal is the official one.

You're right in that the selection of the official proposal is out of the player's hands, but I'm not selecting the proposals arbitrarily. I selected your proposal as yours was the only one from a player that had yet to submit a successful proposal. But I highly encourage the players to define new mechanisms which remove this power away from the Totem and directly onto the players, although it might take some coordination...

Just not feeling it. Not the least reason being that the expected return is under 50% and so it would be a terrible idea to actually make use of. The only situation in which it would be actually statistically useful would be if you had three or more attackers attempting to drag down the front runner. Even then, the net result would just be to push off end of game by one round.
Now, if it was a winner two thirds of the time, that would be a different thing altogether. But I can't actually support this particular proposal.
{YES}
Sounds fun.

It doesn't feel like what I imagine this game to be really like.
