RE: I've always been a sports lover, I dance and go to the gym as often as possible to workout and take some yoga classes. However there are times when your time seems more limited and you start to loose a healthy balance between BODY - BRAIN - SOUL The daily feeding of all three areas is essential in order to maintain a happy and healthy life and the key to achieve a good balance lays in the time-management of your daily routine. I found out that a lot of people struggle with efficiency and a balanced life, which is why I decided to create:
STEEMFIT
Optimum health requires the mind, physical body and spirit to be in balance. SteemFit is focused on taking care of your health, your well-being and a concept for busy people with limited time. SteemFit stands for a balanced health and work life. In today's episode I am joined by my dance/workout-buddy and lovely friend @soldier !
Like I mentioned in the first part, working out is so much more fun when you do it with a partner, it makes fitness more fun and not feel like work. @soldier and I both have busy schedules and sometimes even an hour is too long to spend at the gym. Therefore we created some high intensity exercises that take less than half an hour! but make you feel like you've been running for 2 hours. Also let's admit it... CARDIO IS BORING! Running on a treadmill, watching the minutes slowly go by is boring. So why not change things up and achieve better results in less time... that is one benefit of dance. Dancing is a passion, it's fun and it gets you to stop thinking, feel the music and at the same time gets you sweating more than any cardio exercise. So since @soldier and I are both dancers, we love to take class as a pre-workout / cardio before starting our workout.
1. Weight Crunches - Lower Abs
2. Reverse Crunch - Upper Abs
3. Pull-Ups - Arms
4. Planking VS. Squatting - Abs & Glutes
5. Rope Squat - Arms
Stretching It Out!
I hope you found some inspiration in this episode, try them out and let me know how it goes! What would you like to see next time?
Much love!
- Mrs.Steemit
Very nice post ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to have to ask you two to leave Steemit. You are all making us look bad. Hahhah, just kidding.
Reverse crunches are killer. Love the workout! You guys know what you are doing. I approve!
Thank you, glad you liked it :)
Nice post as always. Its not a workout if the ropes arent involved. :)
Lol yes they burn!
it all boils down to muscle - mind connection...indeed a great workout post
You are so right! Working out with a partner motivates me. When one is feeling down the other will cheer him on. I miss having my workout partner around, but she'll be back soon.
You've shared some great techniques too. Thanks!
Thanks!
After watching this, I can see why! The two of you do not play around, haha.
It's great to see how much you care for your audience and genuinely look for ways to encourage them in their fitness goals.
I love working out with you babe <3
Great post and cant wait for more steemit workouts :-)
Great photos and looks like you had a great workout, those ropes burn after a while don't they?
:0)
Thank you. Yes, especially the day after!
you are guys are pretty beautiful ladies.
Great workout ladies!! Steem on!!
Great workout! I've also been looking for something we can do together with my husband, we'll try your exercises next time.
I love the approach of this post! First of all, working with a partner is such an enormous inherent motivation in itself. Having that person push you towards your upper limits of fatigue is so pivotal especially when they're helping with negative reps or giving advice. Second, I'm not sure how often you ladies do full-body workouts, please let me know, but I recently made the change from a split regimen to full-body and it is so beneficial! You burn more calories, allow your muscles longer rests periods, and surely save some time throughout the week too! Great post!
Girl rules, proud of you. Whoop whoop!
Rope squat is something new to me..wonderfull way to keep motivated
This was a great post. I have been getting a bit bored with my standard cardio routine. I'll try some of this routine to mix up my workout. I really loved the information about battle rope squats. :)
I would die half way though that work out, you ladies have a lot of stamina.
Great workout! :)
This is embarrassing you put men to shame!
I need to start going to the gym 💪
