RE: Steem Flea Market Testing And Giveaway

@steemthat

What are some possible solutions to this scenario?

I was thinking about that. Maybe a third party or group making the decision of who receives the item would help mitigate this. Some sort of working group would be a good start. I look forward to seeing this develop

Sounds like a plan! Done

How would you like to build a random selection bot? That can leave a comment and search for tags. This has python written all over it. i'll publish the details in the group.

This sounds like it could be solution. We will also need people to somehow verify their exchange...photographs? What @anthonyadavisii as also a concern in my mind, but I'm still looking for a solution to this possible scenario and will need a few days to brainstorm it. For now, maybe we can just post items for sale like @macchiata mentioned:

I found this to be a good idea but well maybe not only giveaway but if someone sells secondhand paperback book ( Preferably mythology book or classic novels) I am down to exchange with some SBD. Like the Amazon or Ebay style ^^

Verification photo isn't a bad idea. I'd be glad to help out with providing bot code. We just need to figure out the requirements for like filtering out spam comments. I have an idea for that using the upvotes of trusted agents to be a 'tag' if you will of good comments and then the randomization function can be run against those. Feel free to reach out on steemthat.and we can talk more.
