I am very excited about this too... Have a couple of question tough... How do we promote our gigs in steemit?... I mean, i did a post about my gigs(using steemgigs tag), but that's it, no much people saw it, should i re-post my gigs constantly?... Would be cool that anyone requesting a job could find me easy, but my post got forgotten with the time... So this is where i see this idea falling here...

Yes, I see this as a challenge as well. Did the @steemgigs account resteem your post? I'll be doing a recap of the steemgigs that didn't get filled, in a weekly publication to highlight the Steemians that still need gigs.
How do i know if someone have reestemed my post?... I mean, i have no problem on re-posting my gigs from time to time, but it could become "spam", i want to avoid repetitive posts...
if someone resteems it, their name appears above your post.
Where it wont fail is when there is manual compilation and curators etc with time. it is long road but for now it is all manual but with time, we may have a website with categories and subcategories perhaps on the steem blockchain. Temporarily tho we are looking at using the forum by chainbb. For starters tho, we need steemit posts as these accomplishes way more than a website. so you are ultimately helping with steemit marketing when you post. You can always repeat your post in a way that it is not repetitive by tweaking it. for instance, @inphiknit did 3 posts before he finally got response. He started getting response by increasing the amount he is giving out and his post started to get seen and within a day or two around 3 testimonial posts occured all taking up his steemgigs. With a post, you have freedom so play with it!
I know moving forward, we will be better organized to form a group. Right now, the weekly publication that highlights the gigs and people who have not gotten success will be a priority.
Maybe there could be a tag or a weekly publication compiling all job request, so freelancers can check on that too...
yes, that is exactly what I am planning to do....so make it really useful.
Cool! i'm on it!... I will be offering various gigs :)
ok me too. I'll be posting my first gig pretty soon. In some ways, I've been doing Steemgigs for a while, before there was a tag.
That sounds very good!... A weekly post including link to all users offering gigs seems like a cool solution... :D
i tried finding your steemgigs post but couldn't. can you link it here?
here it is https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@dreamrafa/steemgigs-i-will-produce-music-for-you
ok thanks
Thinking of it, we can create a quip document temporarily where every steemian can fill up links to their steemgigs etc so that compilation! https://quip.com/ etc. Just thought of that now!
@dreamrafa these are temporarily solutions!
ok
