Yes, I see this as a challenge as well. Did the @steemgigs account resteem your post? I'll be doing a recap of the steemgigs that didn't get filled, in a weekly publication to highlight the Steemians that still need gigs.

How do i know if someone have reestemed my post?... I mean, i have no problem on re-posting my gigs from time to time, but it could become "spam", i want to avoid repetitive posts...
if someone resteems it, their name appears above your post.
Where it wont fail is when there is manual compilation and curators etc with time. it is long road but for now it is all manual but with time, we may have a website with categories and subcategories perhaps on the steem blockchain. Temporarily tho we are looking at using the forum by chainbb. For starters tho, we need steemit posts as these accomplishes way more than a website. so you are ultimately helping with steemit marketing when you post. You can always repeat your post in a way that it is not repetitive by tweaking it. for instance, @inphiknit did 3 posts before he finally got response. He started getting response by increasing the amount he is giving out and his post started to get seen and within a day or two around 3 testimonial posts occured all taking up his steemgigs. With a post, you have freedom so play with it!
