the genius of childhood is recovery According to will

Sort:

I am going to give this to you, even though it is not perfect and you tied with thatmemeguy. Very good sir. The absolute correct answer:
"Genius is the recovery of childhood at will." by Arthur Rimbaud.
Nicely done.

wait explain why please

"People who know me in person could think it’s a quote by me. It’s not though. It is by the French poet Arthur Rimbaud (1854 – 1891), born in Charleville. As part of the decadent movement, Rimbaud influenced modern literature, music and art. He was known to have been a libertine and quite restless, traveling extensively on three continents before his death from cancer.

I love this quote as it stands for a fearless, open minded, free and (un)controlled state of mind, being close to yourself and not bothered by convention or opinion. Especially the ‘at will’ is interesting because it reflects the power of the mind to provoke / create."

The passage above is from this blog: https://supergites.wordpress.com/2011/02/28/%E2%80%9Cgenius-is-the-recovery-of-childhood-at-will-%E2%80%9D/

Beautiful quote. I like it a lot. I recall a point in my life where I had lost my way. During that process I recall harking back to times in my childhood to identify characteristics of my being that seemed to be implicitly 'me'. This reminds me in some ways of that process of seeking the 'inner child', which I would equate to the distilled essence of who we are before experience and circumstance moulded us into something else.

I'm sorry, @stellabelle, but i still can't understand how we were supposed to find it. Is there a display error for other users? What i have is a succession of dots (3,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,3) separated by **. I see no words at all. Was the point about rearranging words?

Nice job!

did you know what AR meant?

To be honest I had no idea that it could be AR, first count the rules of points, and then to see no sense I started to see the image and notice that there were words that stood out, what cost me more was the Japanese word that Means "genius" (Tensai)

did you just rearrange @thatmemeguy's words? Or did you figure it out yourself?

I had all the words less "according to will". There I had "lau will" .. there I understood that the translation I found was wrong for lau volo

both winners are from Venezuela. interesting.
