I used to like watching 3D walk-through videos of architecture, and VR is a natural extension to that - so I do love the concept, and application.
And I can really see the benefit to estate agents, and property builders in VR platforms like this one.
But...I'm not sure I'd pre-purchase a property on the back of a VR representation, no matter how slick it looked. With property, there are so many factors which come into play, with plans sometimes changing quite a lot from concept to finished build.
Yes, seeing a "vision" of how it'll look when finished is great, but a vision isn't a finished product.
Having said that, I still think estate agents can really utilise VR, and should be exploring the possibilities, as it's a great tool.
