try breathing slowly and steadily...

the slow deep breath should help oxygenate your body better. Especially the "hold" part can be tricky at first and you can treat it as the optional turbo boost for this exercise.

of course... above all... breathe by your rhythm... the clock is just there as an orientation, as long as you go slow and steady you're doing it right!
