The last 4 days when I start my day, my bandwidth has been negative 2-300%. It takes 4-5 hours to refill, and during that time I can't use the site at all. I can't post, can't vote, can't comment etc...
I'm not doing anything on Steemit for the 6-7 hours prior to logging on while I'm asleep, and it's almost full when I go to bed, so why is my bandwidth so low when I wake up?
Bandwidth is based on the amount of steempower you have, and regenerates like 2% every hour.
I do not know the full details but this guy obviously does.
Check your things at https://steemd.com/@adammillwardart
I have been checking it there, that's how I know it's been at like 96-97% when I go to bed. Right now it's even weirder, it shows 0% bandwidth, and my reputation down to 25, but, I'm able to post right now and my reputation I see here on my profile is 43?
The bandwidth being 0% is true because it says "0 bytes of 0 bytes". But I am not sure what is going on. Have you tried checking at another node?
Not sure how to? And right now I'm about to head to bed. I posted this preemptively in case I wake up to the same thing tomorrow for a 5th day - but can't post my question because of the bandwidth lol
I hope you figure it out!
Last night I logged out of Steemit completely instead of just closing my browser. Seems to have done the trick.:)
That's a really good question, however I have found that my bandwidth is usually lower in the evening after I've written dozens of comments, added a great amount of content as far as blogs and upvotes. I've been more mindful over the last few days on how much I use the platform and only adding content when I feel it's something worthwhile.
