I will give anyone who can respond to my post with good comments relating to the topic of the week and engage with each other throughout this particular week, a certain SBD amount. As my power has not reached a level where I can upvote handsomely, so I will count your engagements that are good, accumulated it and then I will pay you through my wallet the total amount after the 7-days post-payout done, For example, 0.05 per good comment x 10 comments = 0.5 SBD. Aside from this, you will earn also from my upvote although not much, just 0.03 per upvote (depending on my voting power), but if you accumulate them, it is an easy daily earning for you plus the weekly one. What's your blogging niche? Did you find it by accident or have you decided based on your interest, hobbies or special skills? The hardest thing to blog is finding what to blog actually right? So let's hear your story. Maybe we can solve your problem and give you idea by brainstorming with each other here.
For me, it was based on my own personal objective. When I first joined, I think I wanted to write about nature. I am not an expert but I have many photos to share because where I currently work is surrounded by varieties of Flora and Fauna, but soon after I didn't feel like it and so I changed to writing many other topics of my interests; movie reviews, food outings, jokes, cooking, positivity, kindness etc etc. And then it dawn on me that the most important thing to me is to spread positivity and kindness, that's my first objective. Earning is a plus and a blessing.

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new week! I'm very happy to share a little more around here.
As for the topic, I just have a week on Steemit, my main idea was sharing my progress of getting back to art, like posting simple art tutotials or just sharing my hand drawings, but I'm still figuring out what I want, because I would like share interesting pictures, my own architectural projects, maybe simple tutorials to make renders, or even share progress in digital art and graphic design (A new personal project). I like too many things and trying to focus is a little hard.

But still I try to draw since I need it n my voluntary work. I'm teaching deaf and mute people but most of them can't read and write so I do drawing just to express my self and for them to understand what I mean. So cherished your talent and keep on enhancing it!

Thanks @mbell! It's just my way of showing my love to fellowmen. I can't give them money since I'm not rich! But it doesn't stop me there in helping people. I thought of sharing what I have and that's the education they can't afford so I hope in this little way I can make them feel they are welcome to our world and their disability won't hinder them in expanding their friendships around the world and especially most they can feel that we love them too. Yes, I don't like drawing but because of love I do it even not for me but for the sake of them.

Welcome HHG3 group and welcome @ainie.kashif, Greetings, this week's topic really tease me to participate in it, want to share my experience, if later there is less understood may ask me, hahaha ......., I am originally an amateur photographer, based on the hobbies and have a little change, then I try to buy my first dslr camera, Nikon d40x, my first camera managed to survive for 6 years usage, after that so my child's toys, over time, now I choose the path to be a wedding photographer, assisted by friends I am in a group, now we have been able to serve friends who want to capture the moment of their wedding and party. here, in this steemit, I try to focus in the world of photography alone, because I am also not good at making words, it was temporary, if the ending is less fit I apologize

If I am honest the only thing I want to spend money on for my wedding is photos so I can remember the day. So I respect and love the choice you have made to capture Weddings. I agree with this. As I only speak English and wish I spoke so many more languages, sometimes I see posts with English titles and they sound so enticing and then the post is in a different language. Always leaves me curious. We need a translate button like they have on Facebook haha.
I have been able to read some of @wilb81's using google translate, simply cut and paste, it's not completely accurate, but the story line comes through.

Well, nowadays I normally write in simplified Chinese. In the beginning, I used to post in trilingual (English + Malay + Chinese) However, it's very time consuming (triple of my writing time) Hence, I'm now mostly concentrate with Chinese.
However, I will post in bilingual (English + Chinese) from time to time in near future~

Well, Steemit is about original and creative. Thus, all those duplicated contents are not welcomed and forbidden here. That's why, we try to be as genuine as possible sis :)
It's nice that your blog contains a lot of information. This is an advantage for you. Because you do not have difficulty writing.

I have found that as a newbie it is quite difficult to settle on a niche, so before I answer your question about my niche, I wish to highlight some of the factors which could impact on that decision;
There are just so many tags and topics it can be a bit overwhelming to select and be certain that you chosen correctly;
sometime we decide on a certain niche, only find that it is saturated and you literally disappear into the background, eg. bitcoins and cryptocurrencies.
Sometimes the consideration is based on how long it takes to create a post. An example of this @gumegxgolgom - whose niche takes too long to translate into a post. I have selected motivation post and a word of the day to because it is super easy and super quick to post.
We should have an audience for our niche, it is no good posting hundreds or thousands of you niche item and there are only a handful of people interested. You will have enough support to expand your blog.
So to answer the real question my niche is in motivation and self-development also spread positivity and knowledge. It took me a while to settle on these but decided on these after considering the above factors.
Hi @rlt47, I like your explanations, always very detail and easily can grasp your points. I agree on tags matter, deciding on what tags to use are equally important as deciding on your niche. From my observations, you can only undertand this after testing by posting certain topics and then you measure your target audience responses whether positive or not. I agree with you also that there's no point posting if no one likes it, it's just a waste of time and energy.
You cannot continue doing what you are doing if you are not gaining the responses from your target audience. The thing is to find your strength and using it to attract traffic to your page. That's a win-win situation. You gotta do what you like while attracting your audiences. And then this will be your niche.
I am happy that you have found your niche based on your testings. A happy blogger will result in happy blogging experiences.

I think our topic must be interested . Some time we like some topic but sometime public don't like . So we need we find good topics then public interest our topic . Don't post same topic . Same topic sometime make boring .

My blog is as true to myself as anything. I have not had it easy in life, as many others haven't and I have found that humour has got me through some of the worst times and situations. Sometimes even the littlest things can brighten a day and that is what I want my blog to do for people. Whether it is experiences I have throughout the day or pictures, I want to make people smile or maybe laugh out loud either with me or at me. Laughter connects us all and can bring us together. So it is my main objective.
The only hard part is finding blogs like mine that I can sit back and read and have a laugh. Or perhaps the fact that I am not sure there is a large enough audience looking for something like what I am writing or attempting to do. I am going to keep doing it because I enjoy it and my hope is that people find it and know they can come to my blog and get a laugh.

Okay .. thats fair enough...I have done with the introduce myself and its the first thing I do right after I had my steemit account there is nothing much to discuss about me...I had my early retirement from a good government job still love the job but I can't endure the workload and busy environment some work not relate to the main co business so I decided to leave. I am joining in this discussion with some lovely friends in this group. I am a newbie here and to be hones today only I came across this. Hope I could start my engagements right here right now.
I joined in September last year and my primary aim was to share few traveling blogs which I made it as traveling is one of my time pass. But as Ainie pointed out I was felt slightly disappointed as it found few of my blogs I posted have almost NIL response, then started to to be active by posting many photos...
Then on despite busy life I made sure once in a day I participate in some photography related contests. Though there are some gains in between still it is a matter of confusion how posts are being recognized...
Despite all I fell in love with this platform and may this group may happen to be a turning point in my Steemit life. Let me see how?????

When I started about 5 months ago, I was disheartened whenever I talked to anyone who has a higher Reputation level but did not get a reply to my comment. Of course, I always make sure I post good comments anywhere I go. I kind of felt embarrassed and felt so small each time. And these experiences have made me realized that it is very important to reply to each comment on my post and try my best to support anyone especially newbies so that we can keep going here in a positive and happy mood. Hi there, I joined recently and I am trying to figure out things here.
I’m used to social media, I have an Instagram account where I post my workouts, exercises to do at home. I created to profiles on steemit @mynotsofitlife and @xlaylamx, I thought that my account was rejected and then I paid for one. Which I regret, I don’t want to maintain 2 accounts, one plus the instagram and Facebook are a lot for me to handle.
I wish I could get my money back from the account I paid and maintain just one account. 😫

As concerning the 2 Steemit accounts I wasn't even aware that one could pay for an account!? I think in your case focus on one account which you want to develop at this point in time. I have heard of many people who run multiple steemit accounts (some up to 14), particularly if they have varying niches. At this stage don't fret too much, as you may decide to use both in future. Hope this helps :)
Hello @xlaylamx, Welcome to HHG3 and Steemit! I am sorry to hear about your paid account. Since you have paid for it better just make use of it. I have observed that it is best to post like 2 posts in a day. So if you are very active in 2 accounts so you can post 2 stories in each account per day. That will be quite productive. Since your postings are your own and original you can just copy and share it to your Instagram and auto posted to your Facebook. So perhaps you can manage all of them this way, however I have no idea whether this will exhaust you.
I am not a social media type person and found it as a waste of my time and energy. I feel that I should only spend my time and energy if it benefits me mentally and financially. It was hence how I was coaxed in joining Steemit. I couldn't believe it at first and it took my friends few months to persuade me to join this platform.
In this wired world of Steemit, you can only learn all by experience. But as you are part of this HHG, we shall keep on learning new things one step at a time. Feel free to check my posts and I hope you can benefit from any one of them.
Finding your niche and knowing that you have a steady followers on your page will be a win-win situation for you. You can only know this as time goes by and observing the traffic that flows on each of your posts. My best wishes always.

Joining Steemit is a challenge but I'm willing to learn and improve. I'm open to constructive criticisms. As far as I know (I've been on the platform for 2 weeks already), you can write anything under the sun! You can share your talents, skills and your heart. Everything and anything can become interesting whenever you put your heart into it.
I'm interested in photography. Maybe that's what drives me into posting what I think is beautiful no matter how big or small. I want the world to see the things that are sometimes left unnoticed. These things can be very beautiful too <3

I have the same feeling as you @kpauf. When my friend told me about steemit I said I'm not really into blogging. So I just ignore it anyway. But when most of my friends keep on talking about steemit and I was the only one who don't understand what they're talking to, I decided to join but it takes two weeks before I started posting! At first, I'm alttle bit disappointed because not many noticed my post,only my friends in person do upvote my post. But anyway, I still do posting and thinking since I'm a newbie here so I should expect that. And soon, I was happy to see new people giving comments and appreciate my post! And that's inspire me. And like you I love showing and sharing my photography and that's where I depend my story or writings!

Same for me, a few friends told me about Steemit and I just ignored everything, I thought that I didn't have anything to share because I'm not too fluent in writing. I even created my account and I didn't use it until after a month when a coworker told me "You art is good, why don't post it? You most hate you money if you don't post it!", that's when I decided to try it and so far I like it. At first it was a little bit dissapoiting not having enough upvotes, but I understand that everything is in building a good base and that will pay off in the future.
That's true. Maybe we will get there someday. For the time being, let's just enjoy the little things. We may not be upvoted as many times as we expected but those who did really took the time to read our posts. And that is enough ❤️

so I'm relatively new to steemit, and since I'm still in the settling phase in a new country, I haven't been able to give steemit as much time as I'd like to. Because of that, my blog really isn't a good reflection of how much I love to write, and the topics I feel are part of my niche. But I hope I am soon in a position to change that :)
Steemit is sea and we are just small fish . In steemit when we see a whale dolphin etc. So we feel we also become whale but I think we need hard work every day one post . whale and dolphin very hard work thats reason they are succeeded . I would love to go and visit there one day. I can see that you are serious and trying to become better. I would say you have found your niche in writing as you are now focusing more to travel stories. Your motorbike still in the story which is good and keeping your motorbike stories expanded to follow you in your travel series. Entering contests in Steemit are ways to increase your income here. I have not been participating lately but my total winning contests are close to 50 SBD which is really awesome right.

Hmmm,my blogging niche was very simple and it didn’t take time for me to decide what am I going to write about? As “fashion is my passion” I also decided to talk about home decor. Steemit introduce by my best friend. I made my account last year June, in my intro post didn’t get much respons but I kept writing and posting, still doing it. But Don’t know why not getting much responses I think need to work hard.😊
@shanu - you need to be consistent, and post regularly otherwise you will lose the people that like your work.
Also you have to be very excited about what you are doing and share that excitement so that others will follow you.
Also try different things and so how people respond to them. I see you have a high reputation of 41, that means you had or can have support, but you have to deliver and drive your blog.
You have to chase away the bears, cats and dogs....ha ha ha! You quite correct having a blog is hard work, but it must be fun too!
Unfortunately when you stop posting then you lose your audience and you have to start all over again, so now you have double your job...
@rlt47 you are right, I need to be consistent and excited about my passion.i will try my best to engage my audience with my work. I will also try different topics let’s see if I can get responses. Hi, Hello esteemit # 3, ¿My blogging niche ?, I think that in this tank, as we move forward we find in ourselves different facets in which we can excel, in my case, I am a professional of the economic sciences, I have I worked in that area, of which I consider myself with extensive experience, but here in the tank my articles on it have not been relevant, now that I have more time browsing here, I will investigate if I use inappropriate tags to the publication, but In this long learning, I found that making recipes for fast and simple meals, has had acceptance, and curators have voted for me as cervantes, because most of my publications are in Spanish, another area in which I have been specializing is the growth personal, I like those topics very much, I will continue to approach until I have my followers in it.

Hello @syedkashifhussai, of course if I do some post in English, but it is not my preerence, because you have to handle the language well, I do it by translator and sometimes it is not so perfect, but I will follow your suggestions.
