"Cheetah" Steemit copy paste bot Working perfectly! Look for Signs of "cheetah"

in #steemit8 years ago

Some of you may seen this by now, a bot called Cheetah who is controlling everyone so there would no more Copy-Paste.

Is it a good thing? In my own opinion this is a great thing i really hope this will stop people from pasting everything from internet.

This was getting really annoying just by seeing someone have pasted something from interent. Not just that,
but some people actually got success over this by making $$$.

Now i will not deny when i just joined steemit i have tried that way. I was thinkig why should i spend hours on writing
all i need is to paste someone else work. Lucky whales have noticed that just in seconds and it was all over.

Back to "cheetah" hes one of the best i have seen, even if you text a part of the context and paste it in your post he will find it, dosent even matter if you changed article name and half of the context.
What he does basically hes searching all over internet for simillar posts and once its found a reply will appear under the post with the link of an article and a warning.

So just in a few days times will definitely going to see a big decrease of copy paste posts.
They will not dissapear from posts, but just seeing "cheetah" reply you can understand its a fake and move to the next one.

Plagiarism will begone!

I had to check but all my stuff is original. But at the beginning I voted like a bot but now I have slowed down and I don't vote as much. Anyway original content is going to be what propels this platform.

I'm definitely more inclined to see everyone's original content. This is one of the best sites for original content, and I hope it gets better as a result of everyone's efforts.

Thanks for the post!

I am all for original content. I hope this works to encourage original works.

'Cheetah' wouldn't have been needed if people stuck to original content and creativity of their own, as stated eventually this will balance out one people are aware of this little bot going about its business...:)

I welcome original content and I welcome shared content if said content is unique, informative or otherwise interesting as long as appropriate credit is given. I am not sure it is the best approach, but it might just be what is needed to steer the overall publishing towards a more genuine track.

I also started this and come to realize be your self . great post.
