RE: Hello! Hello! Group #5: Work-Life Balance After Joining Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago

Glad you are here as I was thinking you were so active in the last HHG4.

ON THE TOPIC 6

I tend to agree with you and I feel I have more plus points than negatives for not having Facebook, instagram etc. Personally for me FB is something like intruding on others private matters and for FB account holders it is like exposing their private life to complete strangers. Please its only my personal thoughts.

As @rlt47 said, I think I saved a lot of time especially in work front due to not involved in FB mainly, even in the case of whats up I used to inactive once in a month or once in two months to get a complete isolation for life from not so useful forwarding messages and silly arguments etc.

And even steemit too seems to be time consuming, but atleast here we have a choice of publishing our creativities and getting paid for it..

Sort:

@angelro - Yeah, I was active on HHG 4, but my time is over. I had an input to make, and that's what I did. I then saw through the implementation. But, I had a leadership role - I am not the leader. I have a problem with people in life like politicians, who have a leadership role, then just take over...lol!

ON THE TOPIC -12
Correct, many social media platforms don't have any value for the user's. Perhaps just for a handful. But it is really destructive to your life balance. even my whatsapp is on need to do basis. sometimes i only look at messages days later (shameful I know). But for me right now quality of life is very important.

Hai Dear @rlt47...

Why are you thinking your time is over but I am again seeing you so active here too and Keep it up. And when we were talking about the leadership in Steemit why you tend to compare it with political leadership. They are in fact special creatures with registered trade marks such as skin power and making a fool out of their electorates..hehehe..

ON THE TOPIC 12

I am happy I was never ever active into FB, see what unethical things they had done now to the millions of users world wide. But for me it was saving lots of time too which I might had used productively. Even whatsup I again agree with you. Even I prefer to visit a close friend once in a week rather that talking over phone everyday, that makes more intimacy...

I think to make an effective work life balance one should reduce the amount of time spends in FB, Insta etc...

@angelro - I was more active on HHG 4 because I was commenting and managing the changes. yes I don't tend to to distinguish between leadership roles. In principle it can always be exploited no matter how insignificant it is.

Ok...Carry on depends on your prerogatives and preferences...We would always look forward with someone like you, not only in steemit HHG but on that process if something positives can be taken out of it that too be an advantage..
