Don't use Stackedit there are major flaws and you can end up losing all your work on there. Use https://draftin.com instead, it really is an excellent tool and auto saves drafts every 20 seconds or so, plus it deals with Markdown.

Yeah even with the sync there are issues, and the dev just ignores everyone on Github, even if you've paid for the software, he's a total asshole.
But yeah, Draft is way more superior, for instance you can open two windows of it without it freaking out :-)

it doesn't have split view, to see how your markdown actually looks like?
You have a split view option at the top, or you just cmndE jump from view to view.
There are quite a few different view options, I only use one though.

Oh yes 'R' I forgot :-), yeah check the options out fully, it even has Hemmingway Mode, which is for writing when you're drunk! :-D

oh my god imagine if you could draft & time steem posts via draftin. would be super awesome
A timing option would be heaven, hmm, I'm going to dig around in the options; it's such an awesome program I wouldn't be surprised if that option is hidden in there! :-)

Ooh, hmm I simply copy my text in Steemit editor before hitting the 'Post' button and sometimes use Notepad :D
