Yup. I've seen a couple too. Usually I've seen them getting recognized by support groups like @curie or @ocd or @minnowsupport which gives them that initial push to step into the world of Steemit.

Drive the price low so the short-term people get out and allow those who are interested to join.

Again, true. The markets will pretty much always be fluctuating. And if it's going down for a while, it'll flush out (not all obviously) the spammers and scammers and only the people who are genuinely interested will enter the platform.

Let those who are wanting to be Millionaires tomorrow move on. Those of us who are engaged and involved will start to influence the culture. We will set better expectations, we will engage. We will teach people to use flags, stop whining, appreciate the process of solving problems and working together. We will teach people to be tolerant of others doing their own thing on the blockchain.

So. fucking. accurate.
