One of my children is on here they are younger than that, we have rules, they can't use the account unless I'm sitting right next to them watching their every move, We are the overseer of the account - it's for them when they are older.
If they write a post it needs to be read over first, they need to think before they write a comment and if they wouldn't say that to someones face don't post it.
If they see a post and unsure ask, not allowed to click on certain tags.
If they join later they might not want your supervision as they wont need it, at that age they will let you guide them and listen to you more than when they hit 15 or 16 when they apparently know it all.
We went over that what ever you say stays on the block chain forever - that is a great help, in what they write about and what they say - as they want to put their best foot forward.
