If you've saved the password locally on HDD and accidentally deleted it then run some disk recovery wizard to retrieve the file and thank me later on. If this is not the case then it's not possible for you to retrieve it, there was just 1 rule on steemit bro 1 rule! Lol

its saved somehow on my browser cuz it automatically logs me in..i just dont know how to get it

Well I think I can help you out with that here's a link to a video if you're using Firefox as your browser https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PRKP2uDmYv8

Lmao.. love this response

Never sign out?

Steemit can't replace lost passwords so there's not a lot you can do on that front.

If you're concerned about losing your balances you could set up another account and transfer them to that. You should be able to run two accounts from separate browsers to avoid losing access to this one.

Are you absolutely certain that you didn't save the password somewhere?

Is it saved in your browser?

yea its saved in my browser...but i dunno how to get to it

Here's a link with guides on how to reveal passwords that are saved in your browser:
http://www.thewindowsclub.com/make-browser-show-saved-password-dots-asterisks

oh oh, they told you like 100 times to keep it, i dont know any solution sorry friend

try passwords.google.com if you saved the password in your browser.

i think your on to something

Another option is following this tutorial I made. https://steemit.com/tutorials/@crazydaze/how-to-make-saved-passwords-in-chrome-viewable The downside is, I never save my passwords for chrome so I don't know if it will remember the password for steemit. I know it will save the passwords tied to an email to other accounts such as facebook, yahoo, etc. I assume it would do the same on steemit.

it saved the password on my computer because it automatically logs me in but how do i get to it..i didnt see the password for this one on the url you recommended

That could be a different setup altogether. Like I don't have to login to my steemit because of cookies and I chose auto-login. However, that doesn't always save the password to sign in later if you signed out.
Let me try my tutorial thing. I really hate saving passwords to the browser but give me a moment.

i use firefox

Okay, the same concepts apply to my tutorial its just a different way to access it. Let me download and install Firefox real quick.

I GOT IT!!! firefox lets you see saved passwords

Nice. Yeah. I guess I need to do a tutorial on that soon.
