This is what I have been having to deal with for the past hr.
Theres more and it keeps coming nonstop, their was even one attacking my whole family. I came across this person after commenting on a post. She started spamming and attacking me in that posts comments and began attacking me today on my posts.
She sent another 2 messages as Im writing right now. If we can't figure out a way to get rid of users like this then I can’t see Steem ever going mainstream. She said Trevon James deserves to die and a jail cell isn't good enough for him. Is this the type of users we want in our ecosystem? And if not whats being done to take care of problems like this.
I don’t care how anyone feels about @trevonjb this kind of actions should not be tolerated and there should be no place for it on the Steem Blockchain.
I personally feel this person should be banned from ever posting on Steem again. Would love to hear what you guys think about this whole situation and similar situations like this.

Yeah, those are ugly messages, but they are just that. Words with nothing to back them.
One of the drawbacks to immutability is immutability. I don't know that there is anything to do here besides ignore it.
I recommend you bask in the joy that this person is sending your money, ignore their messages and don't respond. As with all trolling or bullying if no one reacts it fades away.

No kidding. I just saw this comment. I have all 30 of that psychos accounts blocked so I didn’t see your reply. Apparently this person hasn’t learned a thing and doesn’t even understand the Steem concept. Just a spammer. She kept sending .002 Steem to me just because she read I could block the .001 transfers with steempeek from someone’s comments on this post, which I haven’t even tried yet. At a point 5 times a day at least I would get transferred .002 and before that she would send .001 all day. She would downvote me with all her accounts on my comments and posts but she only has one account with 200 SP rest are practically 0 and all of the accounts voting powers are drained from spamming. She’s wasting time and Steem on spamming people and damaging the ecosystem when she could be blogging or something and earning. Then they wonder why they got scammed. SMH.

Not much can be done about that. When money is involved in every action people get nasty. If you use SteemPeak you can filter out 0.001 messages.
Outside of that, there isn’t any way to stop someone from sending transfers. I’ve been asking for ignore for transfers for a while but I don’t see that happening.

At least with transfers it costs them something to send. As STEEM goes up, should get more costly for them to try and spam you.

Use SteemPeak, it does a better job at filtering wallet transfers, but it isn't perfect either.

I got the account on mute on Steemit and Partiko the 2 apps I use mostly but she has multiple accounts and could keep making more. If Steem was to have near the same amount of users as a FB or Twitter, I think this will become a big issue with spammers and trolls.

Your totally clueless. I actually feel sorry for you. You got some serious issues and nothing you say makes any sense. You don’t even have enough Steem Power to affect anyone you downvote, your just annoying and very immature. All your doing is spamming, your not affecting anyones Steem or earnings. If anything you’ve transferred me more Steem than you’ve done damage by downvoting. Stop upvoting posts older than 7 days it doesn’t count you waste your voting power. I recommend make a new account or use an account that still has 25 reputation score on Steemit and put all your Steem Power in one place. Blog tell your story and earn more Steem don’t spam just put your story out there and earn Steem. Your just wasting your time and money this way. You can make more Steem if you just blog. I feel sad for bitconnect investors that lost everything but you have to do your own homework on a project before you invest. Bitconnect had scam written all over it. Be more careful with your money don’t just follow a YouTuber do your own research before investing in anything. Steem is a great platform start blogging get your story out. Educate people so they don’t make same mistakes as people in bitconnect did.
