I appreciate your support on the flagging issue, and I assumed I would have it, but the messed up part is that you are the only one that is willing to support me with counteracting @fulltimegeek, that dude has metal problems, he has been harassing me on youtube even before steemit existed, he used to post negative comments about steem and say bitcoin is the only real crypto, then after a few months of watching me on steemit, he joined steemit and eventually sold all his bitcoin for steem.

I accept how he is, what I cant accept is how all the hate and harassment comments on my blog posts continued for days with no counteraction, this gave fulltimegeek the encouragement he needed to start his long awaited campaign against me, he might be out to destroy steemit. The steemit community is way too small for someone like me to keep powering up and blogging the way I was, if steemit gets a bigger community with 3 times more whales, I might not stand out so much and could continue to do my thing... having fun and being FREE :)

Can you give those of us who came into this late some background on what's going on?

I'm seeing a lot of negativity and flagging the last few weeks, almost entirely from the "have-nots" trying to pull down whatever they identify as "the haves".

Marxism seems to be seeing a popularity surge here on Steemit just like it has in the West more generally.

Blergh.

when the steem price is not going up, and even starts to go down for a while, flagging always increases, it's interesting, and organic, steemit is an emotional web site. Even Dan, the creator of steem blockchain would get into flagging wars when he was on steemit

Would be really nice to get @thejohalfiles witness support ;)))) lol.

But yeah hes a good guy

This is how life turns out to be most times, as you grow and become successful you attract some people whose primary assignment is to work full time trying to pull you down. But anyone trying to pull you down means they are below you and you are at the top

He may be frustrated because he sold all the bitcoins and now steem is also down, so he would be thinking he is broke now.

and now bitcoin is doing amazing, he sold before bitcoin reach $1000, I get his frustration with me, the problem is not him tho, haters gonna hate and all I can do is mute and tell others to use mute, but mute just gives us a false sense of security because the hatred continued for everyone else to see, and that led to a slippery slope to slide me off the steemit platform

Dear you should not worry because the whole steemit platform know about you and you have helped a lot many people in educating about crypto currencies and trading. You must believe in As you sow, so shall you reap. We all are with you.

I really hope you don't quit blogging. I am learning a lot about crypto and internet marketing from you.

Party on Garth

Not Cool @fulltimegeek 😒

Shake the haters off Craig, the strong will outlast the storm and losers don't last. I have been going through the same issues with @adm , and he is just crushing my posts/comments with flagging unwarranted, so I know the feeling.

You have followers and supporters brother, stay strong and live it up!

I see the hate that keeps coming your way my brother ,, but just keep doing your thing , they can't stop the blessings from flowing

Well some people just have so many problems in their lives so they want everyone else have problems as well.

yeah, I guess selling all my steem is nice problem to have :)

Although I have posted negatively about your posts I recognise that you can do whatever you like with your votes and SP and if people were more honest they would be doing the same as you if they had your SP. Abuse of the flagging system needs to be looked at and hopefully it will as what you are experiencing is shit and undeserved.
I'm sure you aren't going to be crying yourself to sleep about it as you power down at $10,000 a week but it is a shame that you feel this is your only option.
Good luck for the future. Part of me is going to miss your words of wisdom ;-)
Take it easy

What a loser

I for one don't want you to stop. I love the entertainment and it gives me crypto goals as well. Don't let one guy with a mental disorder tilt you off your game. Staying having fun and being free.

oh, I am having lost of fun and being free, went for a bike ride and swim this morning

Very nice, good to hear. I also will be happy when this Aug 1st is over. Its holding everything down. And that Darth Vader looking building was cool looking. Like something straight out of the Matrix.

How do you even downvote? I'll downvote that cornball if I stumble across his posts somehow.

it's pointless, he does not care cause he does not blog

Can you just not ignore him or is it all about steem power? Cheers mike

Keep doing you thing, i rarely comment but always enjoy your posts

that guy is stalker maybe you stole his girlfriend or some another big grudge? i hope you continue your journey in steem

@craig-grant, as I always say in situations like this, Haters are gonna hate and winners are gonna win because that's what they're both good at. You have too much positive energy for any human to think they can f#ck with your success!

Your followers will stay follow you and now will get "golden nuggets of wisdom" concerning cryptocurrency and where to "flow" your monies for max gain. It's ashame, you had it sweet in Steem, but now it is time to move on. Good Luck Mr Grant.

Fuck up world this is.. real time bullying

So when CG does it, it's considered justice and fair while protecting himself and his followers... yet when it is done to him it's unjust bullying (from personal experience, he didn't like that I was questioning his ethics and morals when posting tutorials on "Flagging is Fun" and habitual self-upvoting - and he single-handedly pounded my Rep down from 42 to 5)?
Y'all really got this all messed up, no?
I really feel strongly self-upvoting and down-voting should be abolished. If an account/user is spamming or posting inappropriately the community should (theoretically anyway) do enough damage/prevent said accounts/users from succeeding simply by paying them zero attention. And allowing accounts/users to pay themselves handsomely (even with an auto-upvote bot, smh) simply because they are already handsomely wealthy is about as ridiculously unbalanced as allowing already rich politicians to skim off the top of campaign contributions so they can eat steak and drink mojitos.

Thanks to these built-in abuses, and those who use them for either profit or petty drama, I believe many newcomers to steemit will realize investing more than time and effort (fiat currency) into this system is to high risk and won't do it.
So sad... I did not join steemit to become part of some drama club or research/investigation team, I wanted to earn for creating. And yet here we are, stuck in the drama while researching and investigating all the crap that has little to do with creating content or earning for efforts. I like that @fulltimegeek is giving CG a taste of his own medicine.... and yet I do not support the built-in ability of the system for such abuse to go on in the first place (whether it's CG flagging me as was done in the past, or FTG flagging him as is being done now).
