In these cold times it's a bit hard to know if you are sleeping or if you are awake. At least when it comes to Steemit and the fantastic run up in price recently. Now the question remains, was this just a correction to a more fair price, or do we dear to dream of a price further north ?
In my opinion we are going much further north. The reason why I say that, is because I think we are still undervalued. If you open up coinmarket.com you will find 35 cryptocurrencies which are above Steem in market cap. The interesting thing is that I don't find any of these coins above to be more valuable than Steem if you look at the fundamentals.
How many of these cryptos have been officially launched and have been up and running for some time ? Steem and Steemit has been running for more than a year and is working perfectly smoothly.
How many of the coins above have faster transaction speed ? The answer is only a fraction !
How many of the coins above have free transactions ?
How many coins will be able to do ICO like that of SMT?
Is there any coin challenging Steem in the block chain social media sphere ?
There are a thousand other questions left, but they all give the same answer. Steem should easily be in top ten on coinmarketcap.com.
If Steem would be the same value as IOTA for example ( which hasn't officially been launched yet) then Steem would have a value around USD 45 !
So have we finished dreaming yet ? Nope !
I think it should be even higher than that as SMT will help to revolutionize the entire internet and the way websites work. The web will become tokanized.
I think in the end of 2018 we could be at around USD 50 per Steem. It will double quickly from there and one day I think Steem will even reach a thousand.
Now I stopped dreaming and let's see what the reality will bring us !

I have to remind myself and everyone I am almost sixty, I am thankful for my genes. We are a long lived family if I take care we take care of ourselves. I will be posting abut this sometime this week. I have been sitting to much working on my art, researching and writing and have paid the price. To stay young I must move my body or it forgets to stay young :p

You're definitely right because once the VICE Industry Token takes off using the STEEM platform, many more huge social medias as we know today (youtube, twitter, facebook, instagram,...) will follow suite bringing STEEM well into the top ten. @dandesign86 I totally agree with you. I think Steem is greatly undervalued but not for long. I think it is just a brilliant idea and well implemented. I just for the life of me cannot figure out how to buy some :D I use Kraken and I don't see it there!
Bittrex is the best option to buy Steem if you ask me. Poloniex is not good ! Haha

I wondered the same thing. Sometimes we sit at 23rd and other times down as low as 35th or something. I want to step into investing in crypto, but something keeps telling me wait. They say follow your gut. But
then I think, what if I wait too long, and lose out on something big.

I think it's a good idea to average in on some of the more established coins. Then meanwhile check which new comers are on the way

Yea I sure do hope you are right. But the banksters are probably not going to give up their control too fast. I made these illustrations. Some with 3 D software others I just used Photoshop :)
These designs look pretty sound like. I`m just wondering what cypto new laws they are going to put in around Europe and the UK now from 2018. In the UK you can get up to £11,300 and from what I researched apparently if you have a married partner you can give them £11,300 tax free from crypto too. I think the Goverments are trying to put a tax code on for every transaction trade from money to crypto or from crypto to crypto. From what I gathered that Denmark is totally tax free on crypto and Belarus too. With Denmark they make sure they will hit you with other taxes like the average working person there gets. In the UK Coinbase are ripping people off here with high commission charges to buy Bitcoin. So I have managed to find LocalBitcoins which I think is far better than Coinbase.
I think there will be a storm with new rules and regulations. So 2018 might become a bit bumpy
Indeed a big storm will brew on the horizon. I just wonder when it comes into action how far they would go back for people to prove their transactions. I couldn`t imagine what it would be like if some people are crypto trading like over 20 to 30 times a day. When there is loop holes for the mega rich and I am sure the cryptonaires will create new loop holes too. I do think it might take another 2 or 3 years before a huge percentage of people start to cotton onto crypto instead of selling their days for a empty wage were someone else at the top profits from your hardwork.
It will take some time before people catch on - but still their is a point where you have to join and then the masses flow in. If they continue and make it more and more simple for people to join it will increase the adoption speed
When you see lending platforms like BitConnect and Davor. I think more people have heard about BitConnect and its daily lending investment percentage has now dropped much lower since Davor have been here. The good thing about these lending platforms is they allow people to invest from as low as $100. But I think in time if the masses catch on the starting investment price might rocket up from $100. I do sense if more and more new people do come in the lending percentage will drop but the cryptocurrency of that platform will shoot up.
And I agree fully with your opinion, I think Steem is just taking a little breather before its next leap higher

I think it's a very good crypto to be in right now. Look how stable it is compared to a lot of the other ones if you check coinmarketcap . We are going to go higher - we just have to lean back and enjoy the ride :)
