Right, that makes more sense. I was wondering what wizardry would let you add it to the post's payout without a hard fork.

This is the sentence that threw me:

The Steem Dollars will be added to the total received by the post and increase its ranking in the promoted content ordering.

You just mean "received for promotional purposes." I get it now.
