RE: The Daily Coverup -- Transparency Under Attack.

and to whom do you propose we give our advertising dollars to you retarded fool. The spammers like you should be forbidden that's just my opinion. But not to throw the baby out with the bath water, you might want to use your bot code to be more usefull to those who use advertiser bot like how about calculating which one is the most rewarding or best time to buy an upvote. then your project might have a shelf life. your welcome :)

How about to the market for your content? On Steemit you can directly support those that support you. That's kind of the point.

Speaking of shelf life, as a result of the increasing concentration of Steem in the accounts that mined most of it before Steemit even existed, Steemit has a retention rate of ~10% YOY. Bidbots are a big reason for 90% of users leaving before a year is up.

And you're making that happen.

I wonder who really is the 'retarded fool'? The folks posting valuable content and supporting the community that comments and upvotes them, or the folks that spend their Steem buying advertising from whales, instead?

well then you would start with those that rent out their SP to others because it's a business and then to do what to create a return, this is a whole eco system careful the minnowbooster guys might take offense to your ideas after all some bots already leave notes that they visited so why do they need yours.
I think your statistical numbers are off because in all my studies all have the same results give your users some quality content, but you still have to advertise that's just a fact of life.

I don't have to advertise. I never have. I never will. I'm not operating a business. I'm conversing with my peers.

My statistical numbers are from @paulag, who calculated them late last year. You can take up such issues with them as care to listen.

I have been on PAL's discord since it started, and have never dissembled regarding my views on bots, nor have I actually joined MSP because of that principle. They're good people, trying to help new users with the tools available. I have always disagreed with the method of using automated votes to do so, and have never concealed that view.

Your idea of where to start may work for you. Give it a shot.

Lemme know how it works out.

When the buyers of votes stop buying votes, the problem is solved, and it doesn't matter whether you stop the sellers from selling or the buyers from buying. Either end is the stopping point.
