So, in Golos' White paper, under "Reasons for the [Russian] fork" I read that the main reason for establishing the new network is that according to the founders' calculations, Russians on Steemit (as a whole) are making a total of $20 per day (which is absurd). Therefore Golos is created, so Russians can make more money from their publications.
So, instead of learning English and getting your work in front of more than just Russian speakers, you prefer to create a small Russian only network, with its own currency.
It's like USSR again - shielded economy and weak currency. I didn't find any information on the distribution of wealth - does it resemble the communist idea of equality, i.e. is everyone guaranteed an income, or do people actually have to post original content, to get rich, similar to capitalism?
And if the price of Steem is falling, despite the size of Steemit and slowly emerging services accepting Steem, what will happen with Golos' currency?
