- You don't have to trust your Steem keys to "russian hackers". Change your Steem password and safely use your old Steem keys with Golos in order to get you sharedrop.
- Our distribution is far more decentralized. Use Google translate to read a paper

So, in Golos' White paper, under "Reasons for the [Russian] fork" I read that the main reason for establishing the new network is that according to the founders' calculations, Russians on Steemit (as a whole) are making a total of $20 per day (which is absurd). Therefore Golos is created, so Russians can make more money from their publications.
So, instead of learning English and getting your work in front of more than just Russian speakers, you prefer to create a small Russian only network, with its own currency.
It's like USSR again - shielded economy and weak currency. I didn't find any information on the distribution of wealth - does it resemble the communist idea of equality, i.e. is everyone guaranteed an income, or do people actually have to post original content, to get rich, similar to capitalism?
And if the price of Steem is falling, despite the size of Steemit and slowly emerging services accepting Steem, what will happen with Golos' currency?
No need to take offense. Russians are good programmers and are known to take the wrong road for a quick profit - take a look at WordPress attack statistics. While it's not difficult to figure out that two websites shouldn't have the same login credentials, you will agree that out of laziness, many people will login to both networks with the same password. If I'm not mistaken, the Golos FAQ explained that it's possible.
I understand Russian - thanks for the link! I'll be grateful if you can sum up the main benefits of Golos versus Steemit, as you seem much more knowledgeable on the subject!
